Can't wait for the show to start!Let's hope it's a peach!

For me Rampage will be all over Machida from the off and i can see him knocking the Brazilian out! Hope he does. Rampage by KO Round 1

Look out for Maiquel Falcao knocking out Gerald Harris! Wink Falcao by KO Round 1.

I get where Mitchell's coming from on Hughes vs. Penn 3 but im really looking forward to it as it means a lot to both guys...It's gonna decide the trilogy and Surely BJ will be desperate for a victory!Think this might be alot better than people think! BJ Decision

I won't predict any more lol

And I'm with Mitchell on saying good luck to Liverpool's Paul Kelly tonight.Hope he wins!

Enjoy the show lads Smile

George Sotiropoulos v Joe Lauzon - this is too close to call so the flip of the 50p coin Shy says... Lauzon submission To earn his 5th finish of the night bonus & 3rd fight of the night bonus. - annoyed
Phil Davis v Tim Boetsch - Boetsch - annoyed
Gerald Harris v Maiquel Falcão - Flip of the 50p... Falcão... Err KO!!! - Huh I'm changing to Euros, I'll use 50cents next timeRolleyes
Matt Hughes v B.J. Penn - Hughes Decision - shocked
Quinton Jackson v Lyoto Machida - Rampage Decision - Sad

Well i guess i'll call it a bad night on the predictionsShy. Anyways the show it's self was a bit of a let down in all.
George Sotiropoulos v Joe Lauzon Fight of the night as i expected & rightly so. Both fighters put their top class ground game to the test in what was a quality first round, Lauzon may have just shaded it but he started to look tired towards the end. The second Sotiropoulos looked like he knew the chance was there & set about taking the fight to Lauzon but always cautious of the skill of his opponent, but Lauzon's energy levels started to show when the Aussie had him tied up & got a big sub win. This was a very good performance from George Sotiropoulos & it takes him to 14-2 on an 8 fight win streak & now faces Dennis Siver at UFC 127 in Sydney in February, if he wins that i think he'll get his title shot.
Phil Davis v Tim Boetsch A poor performance from Tim Boetsch who spoke of his division 1 wrestling skills but was controlled throughout the fight by Davis who put on a good show & finished with a crazy kimura to go 8-0.
Gerald Harris v Maiquel Falcão Gerald Harris 17-3 KO's 8 Subs 6, 10 fight win streak, Maiquel Falcão 25-3 KO's 21. Well what a load of shit this was Anderson Silva mark 2 is upon us (I hope they don't fight each other) it took 3 minutes for him to throw a shot albeit Harris's low stance made it difficult for Falcão to find a chance to get close knowing the wrestling skills & KO power of Harris. When Falcão did finally explode he looked like a fighter who will/could tear through the middleweight division with ease, his speed & power are immense & to be honest i think he'll show his true quality in his next fight with the words of Dana White & Joe Silva ringing in his ears, just like Anderson Silva's next fight after his performance against Damian Maia in Abu Dhabi, knowing the record of Falcão everyone will be looking forward to see what he does in his next fight.
Matt Hughes v B.J. Penn Well what is there to say... This fight lasted about as long as a So Solid Crew rap. BJ will now probably get another chance to win back his lightweight title.
Quinton Jackson v Lyoto Machida A massively disappointing fight, like i said Rampage needed a big performance but seems to lack the skill or fighters knowledge as to when he should throw & block kicks, If he's gonna get back to the top he needs to perfect his alround game & not just try to throw the big KO shot all the time. It was a bad performance from Machida as well as he should've taken the fight to Rampage, although just like Rampage i think Lyoto was probably robbed by the judges???

Paul Kelly v T.J. O'Brien I'm glad we got to see this fight as it was a very good performance from 'Tellys' against a tricky replacment fighter who he probably didn't do much training for. O'Brien had a massive hight & reach advantage & it showed with Kelly unable to connect with his punches but he showed some good maturity in his ground game to get a good win & take himself to 11-3, 5-3 in the UFC.

RE: UFC
gotta say i enjoyed the prelim fights more than the main card. although the joe lauzon fight was a good back and forth.

RE: UFC
Strange show for me last night.. bladewave I expected it to be better but still enjoyed it! Rolleyes

Falcao looks like he could be a big danger to Anderson Silva...If he settles and actually fights! He looked so explosive when he attacked!Pity he didn't show us more of it!That fight was terrible! I actually thought he had submitted Harris right at the end of the 1st Round!Kinda looked like Harris half Tapped but was saved by the clock!

What the F**k are Phil Davis's shorts all about!!! Bounce What about a nice pair of board shorts for next time dude lol Nice round about funny Mr Wonderful submission move though from him.Talented guy.

BJ Penn looked like he'd just escaped from an Asylum last night! eek He was so pumped up...Crazy!Hughes was stunned by his early attack and good night! shocked Not sure about the storming out of the Octagon from BJ!PSYCHO!Think Matt Hughes might retire now...

The main event was a let down although i've seen a lot worse...I expected so much more from both guys? The fight was dead even for me.Rampage just kinda plodded round looking for a big KO punch and Machida just really didn't look interested in mixing it.Rightly so of course. Also thought Lyoto's speed and attacks would have been more frequent and impressive?!By the sounds of Rampage before the fight i think his UFC days are almost over...

I'D give the show probs 6/10 at best.Well done Paul Kelly.Good victory lad!

RE: UFC
I think Rampage's reaction was a pretty honest show of how he thought he did, definitely not a fight for the ages. Glad he got the win though.

And as for Koscheck/GSP, cannot wait for that one, time for Koscheck to get put back in his place I reckon, haha Wink
