I didn't see the whole show sadly last night (fell asleep whilst watching E4 around midnight) but woke up and at 3:53 (I think ???) and saw the end of Orton/Barrett and then the cashing in of the MITB. A true moment and hopefully it is the start of something major. I heard rumours the other day of Barrett getting the belt at Survivor Series and us still getting Cena/Barrett at the Rumble, I'm glad Cena has gone (for however long) and that maybe we get Miz/Orton/Barrett in a gimmick match at TLC.

Let the era of The Awesome One begin because he is The Miz and he is Awesome.

A lot of people predicted Miz would cash in at Survivor Series. Clearly WWE delayed it 24 hours in order to look a bit less predictable

Miz will probably be champ until Mania and lose it there to someone like HHH or Cena, no doubt one of them will probably win the rumble.

HHH will apparently be back at the Rumble and Miz/HHH would be a fresh matchup in singles competition. I wouldn't accept Cena beating Miz to end his first title run after the treatment and the feud they had last year.

I think The Miz tweeted over the weekend about people tuning into Survivor Series, I've learnt from my mistakes, remember Christian's return to WWE in early 09 and there was rumours everywhere that he attacked Jeff Hardy and would be at the Rumble, he didn't turn up and was shifted down to ECW after that major leak. Of course Miz hasn't gone anywhere the title win happened and I'm all the happier for it. Thinking back to 2006 this guy was a no-hoper and to go with that a loser who would never get anywhere back fast forward four years and he is the WWE Champion and a much improved all-round performer.

I hope Miz holds on to the title til 'mania - and loses it to John Morrison (who looks set for a major push)

It would be great to see this as WWE needs to push the next generation - The old guard of the attitude era are all but finished and Cena, Orton etc. have been done to death.

The WWE needs new stars but the future looks bright - just look at the opening 3 matches of Survivor Series

Has been coming for a while what with the rumors of him being unhappy backstage etc so does not surprise me. He's now saying on Twitter that he asked for his release...

"No need for alarm. I did not get fired . I asked for & received my release. I felt it was time to go international & freshen things up."

Guess we will see him in TNA when his non compete clause ends then.

Defiantly a good idea to Bring back it back especially as it seemed to produce the likes of The Miz an John Morrison question is what does this mean for the Future of NXT.

I think that'll be the end for NXT, the show of course they have released the winner of the 2nd series.

I did always like Tough Enough when it was on, what seems lightyears ago now. Maven and the Matt C (who never did wrestle in the big time due to a brain tumour?). Still top quality show and hope that it will be on Sky in maybe the NXT timeslots....
