Babestation OSG

This thread has been open since April of this year and everyone agrees that the OSGs are terrible and spoiling the enjoyment of watching Babestation. However, up to now nothing has changed. I fear the OSGs are here to stay

The way I see it, it's basic economics - If you are unhappy with a service, stop financing/buying it. As long as there exist die-hard fans out there who contribute vastly (financially) to the thriving of these companies, there is little need for them to take your "please remove the OSG" and other requests seriously. Unfortunately for the occasional viewer of these channels, die-hard fans remain resolute and almost defiant in the defense of this business, spending vast amounts on these girls to counter feelings of loneliness and who knows what else. This is very ironic given the fact that these very viewers have the least amount of influence on the business itself. A business by nature exists to extract the maximum amount of profit at the minimum required effort. "Customer satisfaction" follows in a distant second place - and nowhere is this truer than a business which charges obscene money in return for a wet dream.

So how do you influence the removal of OSG? The answer is simple, choke off demand and MAKE the business listen to you. Otherwise, the business can happily continue thriving at the ironic detriment of your viewing pleasure.. why wouldn't they?

I think you've summed the situation up well there.

The main problem I've encountered, from a business perspective, is convincing companies in the industry to go for a new approach and potentially attract a wider audience. For reasons you've already stated, this won't be possible if the punters targeted remains the same. Most people will see it for what it is, which usually results in them being stuck around the same percentage of punters in the long run.

Under the current climate, there is just not enough motivation to change things around...

I had the misfortune last night of only being able to watch the Babestation channels on freeview (l was snowed in at work)and those black boxes and constant adverts drove me up the f**king wall now l know why l don't watch it at home.

I tried watching Karina's section on BSX last night at around 12.30/1am, but had to give up. There were two boxes on the left of the screen and a banner at the bottom, all advertising pictures.

The other channels offer a service where you can watch/call a girl with the optional service of buying one of their pictures. At the moment, the Cellcast channels seem to be a picture selling service with the option of talking to the models I know which channels I prefer

I still consider BS as my primary channel, although I can see that the graphics are offputting in the sense that there's too many of them, and they're too large on the screen.

This has to be the most self-defeating black box I have yet seen.

Can anybody guess why the line is quiet?
I'm thinking it's something to do with the big black box blocking the view.
I'm not a caller, but I don't regard myself as a viewer either, seeing as I can't see who's on.

Hope they hurry up with those new "background" OSGs...

Surely it can't be great for BS's publicity, seeing that this thread exists and is regularly updated to show potentially thousands of people what they'd be watching/not watching if they tuned into BS channels.

I know BS have probably tried to work out that for all the potential callers they lose due to shit graphics, they gain a certain amount of income due to people using the info given in these boxes/graphics (e.g. buying pics, watching the films).

But why not have a better balance between the 2 things - so that callers have a decent clear view, but still providing smaller sized captions, say every 5 mins, for their various promotions??

Then hopefully they will gain more viewers and more callers, but still get decent revenue from selling pics etc.

The above pics just proves what an asshole Babestations producer is. Like who the hell would want to waste £1.50 a minute looking at graphics / pop up boxes etc.

That's why i stopped calling them Months ago.
