Also how anyone can knock Taylor and say he is not a sportsman is an idiot. Its quite remarkable the amount of hard work he still puts in and to be that much better than anyone else who has ever played the game.
There's no skill to being a jockey, as long as your under 3ft and can whack a horse anyone can do it. Athletes are alot more deserving of the award, if you don't atleast break sweat the you don't deserve squiddly diddly, I av marginal respect for darts player because most are obese so just to stand up for half an hour is a struggle for them haha

That's why cavalry were always in such ready supply and of such uniformly high quality in pre-mechanised armies.
Oh no! Of course, they weren't! That's right - it was much easier to train a bloke to walk than it was to ride a horse.
I rode a horse once - I fell off. I never tried again.
AND these guys are standing in the stirrups most of the time - I don't care what anyone says, that's going to crucify your quads!
Aching just thinking about it...
That said, I personally wanted Amy Williams to win it - anyone with the nerve to ride a small plate down an icy series of death-ramps with their nose scraping the floor, and at silly speeds, deserves recognition. And she's cute, but that doesn't come into it.
Missing key events. Talking bollocks. Making stuff up.

Jessica Ennis Official Website
Triple GOLD!
World Heptathlon Champion 2009, World Indoor Pentathlon Champion 2010.
And now... European Champion with 6823 points - a new personal best.
Since 2000, Jessica’s progression through the junior and youth competitions has shown that she is a promising talent for the future. At only 24 years old, Jessica has shown immense promise as a multi-eventer and has now cemented herself into the history books as a World Champion.
2006 was her first season as a senior athlete and true to form she achieved her first senior medal … in her first major championships! A bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne marked the arrival of a new star on the British team where she now ranks as one of the best British heptathletes. Perhaps more impressive, she is now World Champion after winning the GOLD medal in Berlin 2009, the World Indoor Pentathlon and European Championships in 2010.
