As far as the Top Gear thing goes. It just proves some people just cant take a joke. But they will pick up the phone to complain. They must have nothing better to do with their sad lives.

I'm going slightly off-topic here, but in that we're already going round in circles I think we can fit a side discussion in.

Does anyone know what Ofcom's hang-ups regarding masturbation and genuine arousal on these shows is all about? Why do they get in such a state if genuine arousal is seen on screen?

Wow! great question, and one that really gets to the heart of the matter.
Ermm, I don't know other than to suggest that as it's effectively hardcore material (well, openly masturbating to camera is) then it wouldn't be permitted on an unencrypted channel anyhow.
I know, it's what we want to see and I won't defend the quango or their position (that would just be mental, now) but there are maybe legal reasons other than just Ofcom's own guidelines at play?
Hmmm, I'm not sure about hands down knickers or side-on though - there could be some room to manoeuvre, perhaps?

eUrotic tv is certainly ahead of our stuff, but as a regular viewer, Scottishbloke, I wouldn't say that far ahead. A few months ago they went through a period of graphic open-legged stuff, but over the last month or so we get little more than full-frontal. I've never seen any masturbation on eUrotic. Sexysat is a different matter, however.

Eurotic is strangely tame and explicit at the same time. Naked and showing flashes of pussy but not aroused, and no lezzie action. Never mind that, since when did Saturday evening become gay night on the BBC? I cringe through Celebrity or Strictly Come Dancing, Llody-Webbers musical theatre or Barrowman. Actually Barrowman is the least objectionable. If I or any other man mentions that we dont like third rate amateur music/dance crap our lives are not worth living. And the sad thing is that the dancing shows dont need to be so tame that a 60 year old could wear the costumes without blushing, but thats the BBC for you. They dont need to go as far as the Argentians, but could show fit dancers with plenty of leg, taut midrif, back, dresses slashed to the hip, even the off glimpse of side-boob. But no, costumes a chosen for modest.
