The new owners will do right by the fans Mitchell. These lads are the real thing for me.They'll make the best decision for us and they won't mess about hopefully.

Some of the players should get the f***ing sack.Johnson,Konchesky,Kyrgiakos,Poulson,Skrtel,Babel,Kuyt(hard work,Zero else).Should all be shown the door. Not good enough to even look at the Jersey.

I see 2days press conference has been cancelled.Think Roy is about to bite the bullet.

Watch this space.

RE: Liverpool FC
I don't see why all the press seem to think we can no longer attract a top manager, one bad season dosen't make you a bad egg, last season was down to Rafa's stubbornness not to change the formation after the loss of Alonso, this season is all down to Roy's formation & tactics as i keep saying when playing well we have a better squad then the one Chelsea have at the minute & it's not like we've been challenging for the Premier League for years we've only challenged for it once so nothings changed there but all of a sudden we can no longer bring in a top manager... Errr thats bollocks!!!

The press also seem to think some of the top level international players Gerrard, Torres, Reina etc etc want only a top manager to come in & to a certain extent i agree with this but then they also say the Yanks want a young manager & are looking at the Porto boss who isn't a top manager... Yet!!!

I'm still not sure about leaving it to Damien Comedy to find the next boss as i think it needs to be done by someone who knows how the club has been run for the last 5 years (Kenny Dalglish & Ian Ayre) but then again maybe putting it in the hands of someone not that well connected to the club will mean there's no feeling of passed failures clouding the decision.

I think giving the job back to Rafa till the end of the season wouldn't be a bad thing as we were a decent team under him up untill we lost Xabi Alonso & with Raul Meireles able to play that position we would pick our form up in no time & then at the end of the season we could bring in a new manager, who knows maybe even keep Rafa if he changes his stance of just managing the first team & not the whole club??? Yes some fans will not want him back but at this moment who could we get who is better than him (No he's not a bad manager despite what none Liverpool fans & some still disgruntled Reds think) who halfway through a season won't be a big risk i.e the Porto or Dortmund managers???

On the new owners the only reason (My opinion) people seem to think they're doing right by the fans is because they don't seem to say much unlike the last C*NT!!! i could be wrong but didn't J.W Henry say something like it will take 4 yearseek to decide if we need a new stadium or not.... WHAT THE FUCK MAN!!! ERRR YES WE DO!!!
I don't see them ever spending big money in any transfer window without us having to sell upto 3 players & although thats easiy done we also need to make sure we don't end up like Chelsea with not enough players to fill out the squad as the season we finished second we had Torres & Gerrard injured with no one to come in. If they're struggling to fund a stadium (Ground share hunters can fuck off!!!) then big transfers aren't gonna happen thus meaning like i say The Yank Second Coming!!!.

RE: Liverpool FC
As i said before, feel a bit sorry for Roy.He's trying his best to get it right.Yes,his tactics are negative and his away record is horrendous but the players aint doing the business and the attitude from some of them is rank.

A pretty bad combo.

No matter who the manager is,when them lads pull on the jersey they should be rolling the sleeves up and getting down to it.The basics done the proper way is all it takes to get on a decent winning run.

All the talk of bringing in wingers and strikers is fair but for me our defence needs a complete overhaul.

On the players wanting a top manager in charge...I think it's vital to have someone the players respect 100%.A guy who's done it at the highest level of European football.I think Roy is suffering as the players don't see him as one of Europes top men.A lack of respect is defo being shown from some.

Gotta disagree with u this time Mitchell on Rafa Benitez. He built the mediocre squad that we're stuck with just now lad, minus a few of Roy's duds.Absoloutly zero in the way of man management skills.A stubborn, stubborn man mate who was quickly found out at Inter.I get where ur coming from wanting some stability and improvement but that wouldn't come from Rafa lad.

Benitez for me should never return.

I'd like to see Frank Rijkaard get the job if Roy gets the sack.Think he would get the players respect for what he did at Barcelona and the style of football he'd bring to us would be brilliant.

I'll be singing till my throat bleeds in manchester and gettn rite behind the lads and Roy.If it's his last game in charge then fair enough but lets see some guts and pride and get stuck into them.

That's all i wanna see.

Breaking news from Sky Sports
Roy Hodgson has left Liverpool with Kenny Dalglish put in charge until the end of the season.

I know that at least this will cheer up a few of the forum members

RE: Liverpool FC
The Beeb are reporting that Hodgson has left by 'mutual' consent and that Dalglish will be caretaker for the rest of the season. Interesting move, Kenny wouldn't have been my first choice but its a bad time of year to search for a manager and things can only improve (he said cautiously).
I'm glad to see the back of Hodgson, although a tiny part of me feels sorry for him, but I hope that this move doesnt lead fans to believing they have power over the board. While Hodgson wasn't given much time by the fans it was clear that it wasn't working, any new manager should be given time to settle by the fans if he's trying to do the right things.

I'm not stubborn, I was just born right

I agree completely, players & fans didn't give hodgson enough support,
Hope the king can turn things around but i have sympathy for hodgson.
I also think the timing is good hope we can rattle manure tomorrow.

Hodson has said " I have found the last few months some of the most challenging of my career."
"I thank those with whom I have built up a close relationship at the club for their loyality and support during very testing times."
