Yes finally some goals to go with the performances we've been putting in, now for Liverpool to complete the double tomorrow

I turned Soccer Saturday on at 12:30 &... .... He definitely knows his stuff, I was supposed to be doing my level 2 at the minute but i smashed my leg up in August so i'm just attending the support & assessment days to get the inside track for when i'm fit enough to do the whole course & the FA tutor who's doing the course is from the Cheshire FA & has worked with Carra, he says Carra is a football maniac & has all the hallmarks of a top quality technical manager.
He also put Paul Jewell through 2 of his badges & says he's surprised Jewell hasn't had a good crack at the premier league for any great length of time, he also says the reason most of the young managers coming through at the moment are finding it difficult to get & keep championship/premier league jobs is down to the pressure put on the clubs by the English media which has been caused by the influx of foreign owners thats why Paul Ince didn't last at Blackburn & managers like Gareth Southgate are finding it hard to get back into the game.

I've had to turn Soccer Saturday off as i like to watch MOTD without knowing the score, I'd like to see Carra during the games but i don't break my ritual for no man

He's doing the Chelsea game. Strange seeing him there on the panel actually....just waiting for him to say "Unbelievable Jeff".....

Kenny was at Wigan v Fulham today, I know we've got Fulham at the end of the month but I'm hoping he was also there to watch Charles N'Zogbia & or Hugo Rodallega... But hopfully not another Fulham left back

Blood and guts stuff there today. Great game of ball. I think Liverpool should have had the game dead and buried at half-time. A point will just have to do, although i wouldnt be overly pleased with it.

ill take a point there would of before the game. liverpool outclassed us for 45 minutes we were the better team 2nd half. but a howard error cost us.

How we gave a corner away in the first 30sec of the second half especially as we had the kick off... I think I don't know & Meireles's defending for the second was shocking, he ran to the edge of the box & stopped when he should've been getting goal side of Beckford

I know he's just back from injury but what's with Shelvey on & Cole staying on the bench, also thought Babel's pace would've seen him on before Jonjo, I know he's going for youth especially with Kelly & Spearing who was quality but to put Shelvey on as sub ahead of the other two I'm not too sure.
Wolves 12:45 next Saturday.. Should be fun..

Agger going off injured was a big factor in conceding so early too as the defence had to re-shuffle. Skrtel was blatantly at fault for letting Distin have the freedom of the backpost.

A better performance than in recent games but still way short of where we need to be.

I think overall it was an okay performance. A bit of tidying up still needed with the defence and mainly how we defend set pieces but getting better. Good to see Raul on the scoresheet maybe get him a bit of confidence going into some important fixtures.

Also what a day for Torres, not back to his best yet but getting there had some flashes of brilliance in the game, hopefully when Gerrard & Carra get back we can push on.

Add a couple players and who knows what LFC can achieve this season!
