RE: Sportxxx - Chat & Discussion
I am the duty engineer for Sport, 40+ and Asian tonight, and I can confirm 100% that this is a failure by our fibre provider. Their enginners arrived at the POP arround 10pm and discoverd that it wasen't just a router failure and infact a fibre had broken. We have been assured that they are working on it, but wont give us an expected time for service return.
Dont worrry this is not another Bangbabes or Babeworld No Conspiricies, just a broken fibre out of our direct reach and control. As soon as i get signal on the line I will swicth it Live.

Hey sorry I didn't post earlier. Spent the first few hours running arround like a headless chicken thinking it was somthing in the studio, then thought it was somthing at the big dish that beams it into space, then finaly figured out it was the bit in the middle, then we had to contact our fibre provider and enter a protracted fault reporting process. Good news is we are moving to sparkely new Studios soon and will have a dual redundant link which should prevent these problems in the future.
Once again Sorry for the service interuption, ill have to make a more interesting slate for when we have problems, maybe a Test Card with a picture of Bailey in the middle insted of the girl and the clown.

What I do want to say is aimed at the controllers of Sport and the other babe channels. You're businesses have a loyal and dedicated following. A following that would be the envy of many other businesses out there. It can't be right to treat you're customers in a way that simply takes them for granted. Sport is down tonight and yet nobody from the organisation has seen fit to come on to the forum to give an explanation.
If the problem is operational, then just come on and say that you're having technical difficulties and they'll be sorted soon. If it's something else, surely you can still give us an idea of what it is and when you expect to be back on air. But whatever it is, be honest with us!
What hacked many Bangbabe fans off was the constant stream of misinformation that was posted by there management. It reached a pitch where many of us just gave up caring anymore. Don't go down that route because we don't like being taken for mugs.
Just want to say in closing that if this is the end of Sport, then I'm gutted. OK, picture quality is a bit naff, but with a stable that includes Bailey, Denni, TJ, Vixen etc, this was, in my opinion, the best babe channel. Only hope that things do turn out for the best.
Bit harsh eh? While I'm sure they all appreciate the fans, they can't always rush to the forum at the first sign of a problem to give us the lowdown. They are concentrating on fixing the issue right now, and we've already had some of them come here to let us know what's happening, which is nice.
Glad to know it's not ofcon again, though I do think they are closing in on them.

Cheers for the info also hof. If at what point you do recommence transmission and if at that point all the models have allready gone home can I suggest that as a treat to all us loyal fans that you air one of the encrypted shows from the past and all will be forgiven.

That's the problem with the channel right now. In the past the way round the ofcom problems was an encrypted show and I'd love to see a return to those glory days!
