It now seems certain that Chris Hughton will be named West Brom manager at some stage today/tomorrow.

Roy Hodgson will have to wait a little longer before he returns but I'm sure he will do in the near future.

Good appointment by West Brom????

A Liverpool fan pointed out the Shankly Gates gaffe on the Chelsea banner this morning. It reminds me of the infamous Carlos Tevez 'Welcome To Manchester' poster of last year which featured a celebrating Teves with arms outstretched after scoring a late equaliser against Porto for...United a goal which was ultimately the difference between qualifying for the Champions League semis and going on to win it in Moscow and going out.

As an arsenal fan mine has to be when it was 3-1 to Arsenal against Chelsea and the arsenal fan's started singing to Ashley Cole the fucking twat he is.

"What's the score, What's the score, Ashley Ashley What's the score?"

and when Arshavin comes on and scores, or does something good

"He's five foot four, he's five foot fooooouuurrrr, We've got Arshavin, Fuck Adebayor"

Adebayor one always makes me laugh, not because it's funny but because it's shows you how small fry le arsenal are

The away prices in the Championship are fuckin silly, my mate payed £36 at Derby, you can watch most home teams in the Premier League for that price, better still you could probably get a Budget Flight to Holland, Germany or Spain for not much more & watch a decent team play.

£36 to watch an away match at Derby! My season ticket at Old Trafford works out at £36 per match, and that's the price at which the Glazer's discovered that they can't rely on selling out Old Trafford, hence tickets being shamelessly advertised on the pitch-side advertising hoardings during matches just one week in advance.

I've barely seen any ticket touts around the ground this season, save possibly for the two Liverpool matches and perhaps Arsenal, and even then I cannot honestly recall seeing them. And yet for many years beforehand they were faces that were as common around OT as the players themselves.

I know a Leeds United fan who was paying £30 for home tickets last season in League One! Mind you, Ken Bates - nuf said! Far too many clubs just don't realise there is a recession on, and in the lower leagues especially, should really be offering football for a more realistic price. But I guess that's the causal effect of players' wages etc - someone's gotta pay to keep them and their wags in the lifestyles to which they have become accustomed, and it's always us the lowest rung in the food chain - the fans

"wheres ur famous plastic flags" from sunday was simple but did the job.

Went to old trafford last year, ticket cost £51, hated the place, it's a fucking circus, full of tourists and tossers selling anything you can put the club badge on.

Ground full of nazis stewards who'd be straight over to tell your to sit down if you dared to stand for a second, even though the seats are so small anyone over 5ft struggle to get their legs in.

As for the 'atmosphere' wow, I'm amazed 70k could make that little noise (esp as your away fans are some of the best)
