£100 cheapest champs league final ticket that is fucking disgraceful

In 1999 I paid just £27 for my ticket at the Nou Camp for the Champions' League Final, 17 rows from the front right behind the goal where all the late drama happened! I only paid another £106 for a two-nights accommodation and coach trip (27 hours each way), so that was a total of £133 twelve years ago!

The prices being quoted in today's paper are truly and shamelessly disgusting, but as some tw@t from UEFA (Giorgio Marchetti) says "Why should we price the tickets lower than what we think is a fair level?" and sadly it's inevitable that UEFA will find 90,000 people across the continent who will see those prices as affordable and acceptable for the chance to be at the Champions' League Final.

And don't forget that, economically, these decision-makers and price-setters at UEFA don't live in the real world that we live in, so they hardly understand, let alone care for what we think

And considering I had to pay £90 face-value for my 2007 FA Cup final ticket, one of the worst games seen at the new Wembley, then I suppose an extra tenner does sound like relative value if one chooses to adopt warped logic Not that I hold out much hope of being there anyway...

Marchetti campared the prices of ecl, world cup and the euros, saying the ecl are inline with them, so are is the final of all 3 dull, boring, makes paint watchig fun. i would spend the money on the 2nd leg of the semi final especailly if everything is to play for. spurs v barca or arsenal semi final would be the game i would spend the money on.

these governing bodies get away with it because they know people will buy the tickets, what makes me sick the amount of tickets that go to nonfootball, there are about 25,000+ that go the "ufea family", nobodies with a big bunch of cash to grease platini's hand with. it should be 35,000 to each finalist, 17,000 to general public and 7000 to ufea family. ufea and fifa are bunch of nobodies that just screw surpporters, governments, national fa's out of money. the fa wont be making a penny from this final in fact they will have a bill for £m's.

the only way to get them to change is by bouycotting the final with your feet and not buying the tickets but this wont happen. no wonder there are allegations of corruption in national leagues when ufea and fifa are corrupt themselves.

I wouldnt get too carried away yet if I were a Gunners fan. Great result the other night but it could go tits up very very quickly and very very painfully at the Nou Camp!!!

I don't know the actual price in a La Liga match but the seats behind the goals at the Camp Nou are the cheap seats (aswell as the silly seats in the sky) as they barely ever get filled.

When are they gonna start giving the fans of the 2 teams the lions share of the tickets, they always seem to give 25,000 away to the pricks in suits, also It pisses me off when the major finals are played in an athletics stadium, this is a show piece event & the fans who fork out silly money can see fuck all...... West Ham, you've been warned... Oh wait I said Major finals...

Also with it being at Wembley would you pay silly money to watch it even if Arsenal, Chelsea or the Dirty Scum got to the final??? I mean would fans of other Premier League teams go. Being a passionate Liverpool fan there's no way I would go even if the ticket was free with a chauffeur driven Ferrari for transport to watch the Scum & I have no intrest in Chelsea either & would want both to lose if they did make the final!!! unless it was against each other obviously, although it wouldn't bother me if Arsenal won I still wouldn't go & watch just because of the occasion the same as I wouldn't cheer them lot north of the border in an international tournament........."Them lot north of the border in an international tournament" Oh I do crack myself up sometimes.

it would be great if it was barca v real madrid, would be a repeat final of man utd v barca with messi v cristiano "im a pretty boi, who likes to be bumfucked" ronaldo, messi just showing ronaldo who is the best player and how to play for the team. no wonder fergie got shot of him. ronaldo is a useless piece of shit abit like ufea, fifa and the fa. next thing you know the champions league final in qatar or somewhere outside europe with tickets of £10m.

I'm just going to say that after watching the first leg of Arsenal v Barcelona I can't wait for the return leg. Going to very exciting I think.
