Crawley town's home attendances are around the 4-5,000 mark; today they took 9,000 to Old Trafford. Now I'd guess there were a few glory-hunters on-board the trains and coaches heading north today wouldn't you? Chelsea fans, I'd guess, going to see the real Torres in action.
By the way, Crawley Town were by no means the worst team I have seen at Old Trafford this season; even taking into account the dreadful circus of clowns Ferguson selected, Crawley showed far more ambition in going forward than one or two others I could mention, so well done Crawley, and you'll be a welcome addition to the football league next season all things being equal.
what are you giving me a maths lesson for? lol. i ask one question earlier wether or not torres could play against man utd at stamford bridge and i get given a maths lesson lol. i think the chelsea fans are'nt on here at the min leaving posts cos they are not happy with their results. i thought they mite be on here havin a moan thou.
have your own opinion, lead dont follow.

RE: Football Banter
So just got my glory hunting ass back from Old Trafford, was looking forward to my future as a Crawley fan, but we lost, despite us deserving a draw
So, since we're out of the cup Might as well go back to Chelsea I spose then
What? On penalties?! Oh FFS!!!
Think I'll go Stoke next
Seriously though, whatever happened to the FA Cup not mattering anymore?
That was our first FA Cup loss in nearly 3 years, and I'm more gutted about that than any league defeat we've had this season (and there's been quite a few)

RE: Football Banter
I just can't understand how it's all imploded so badly at Chelsea since the early weeks of the season.
I remember United fans around me at Old Trafford fretting when we were only (their words, not mine) beating West Ham and Newcastle by 3-0 whilst Chelsea were winning 6-0 and 4-0 every week. I told them that Chelsea were using up far too many of their goals early season and that pretty soon they would hit the buffers and probably score one goal in about five matches. No-one believed me, but by November were admitting that I had indeed foreseen how things would pan out.
Even so, I can't believe how chronic and prolonged this bad run of form has been save for decent performances at Bolton and Sunderland. I can't believe Chelsea spent £50million on a player who's attitude has been nothing short of an absolute sulking disgrace for far too long now! It angers me that someone gave Liverpool so much money for such a waste of space attitudinally.
And don't worry Phoenix, I didn't mean you as a glory-hunting Crawley Town fan; you obviously are a Chelsea fan, as is easy to tell with the way you sound so pissed-off, but you have to agree with me when I ask where all these extra Crawley fans have sprung from all of a sudden

Yeah I think it's just a case of jumping on the bandwagon isn't it
As for our season imploding as you accurately described it, I do think Wilkins's departure played a big part. Not that he was some managerial genius that single handedly won us the double or anything. But it was just completely unneccessary, undermined Ancellotti, who sand his praises at any given opportunity, and changed what was clearly a winning formula, as our double last season proved
It was understood that money was a big reason for him leaving as Roman wanted to 'tighten the ship', but then that was clearly a load of tush considering the arrival of a certain someone
