I know it was Yoda, but the trouble is that some the people who get to read these comments are borderline retards who believe every written word they read. Some of this morning's papers have focused on Ferguson's post-match comments and attempted to paper over the cracks of one of the top-three worst referreeing performances I've witnessed in the past couple or so seasons (Mark Clattenburg Everton 1-2 Liverpool, and that Norwegian ref Chelsea 1-1 Barcelona CL Semi-final 2nd Leg). And of course it's meant to provoke a response - this is a fucking forum after all and it would die in a pool of its own shit if no-one ever posted responses. When even Liverpool and Arsenal fans at work were saying they couldn't believe the ref's incompetent performance then one must start believing there was something amiss...

Just have to pull you up on that point mate.
In the most recent Merseyside Derby at Anfield Everton were incorrectly awarded a corner at the beginning of the second half when an Everton player clearly kicked the ball out of play. From the resulting corner Silvain Distin nodded the ball in the net to level the score at 1-1. I'm just nit-picking but i thought it was worth mentioning
Sorry mate
You know what I meant! And anyway, in the recent Merseyside derby you mentioned, the referee obviously
did think it was a corner - although it shouldn't have been, and so let play go on from the resulting corner - I'm talking about when he clearly
knows he's made a mistake and then applies the referees' get-out-of-jail card.

it was great seeing man utd the wrong side of the ref decisions.
I thought that you were supposed to be the great advocate of
fair play as you suggested the other day post Rooneygate? Like I said, two wrongs don't make a right. If you'd have said that whilst you detest United, Rooney, Ferguson etc then I'd respect that as everyone is entitled to their opinion, but to one day bleat on about only wanting fair play in football and then a few days later glorifying - and worse still neglecting to pass comment over a whole series of poor decisions - does you little credit.
For fuck's sake, a few years ago I was disgusted and infuriated when the despicable Arjen Robben fell down clutching his face after barely being touched by Pepe Reina and got Reina sent-off for one of the most blatant pieces of play-acting I have ever seen. Then there was the Norgwegian ref on the same ground a couple of years ago who gave Barcelona a seemingly-endless series of extremely debatable decisions against Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final second leg, which equally infuriated me. Even though I'm in no way a Liverpool or Chelsea fan, I felt that those clubs were unfairly robbed on said occasions and was actually outraged - that's wanting fairness in football, not hiding behind supposedly not supporting anyone and yet retaining some deep-felt hatred for United.
I totally respect the likes of Master Yoda, Mitchell, Groundnpound, Phoenix, Ares, and all the others who hate United because we are their rivals and I feel equally towards their clubs, and also because at least they openly display their allegiances to their clubs, but with yourself it's all smokescreens and inconsistencies in your arguments. Fucking hell man, come out of the footballing closet and declare who you support - I'm sure there are counselling and support groups you could turn to if it's
that embarrassing for you...
