Football Banter

a few months ago i put up a team who i thought was a world class 11 of players playing now. i had chellini from juventus and vidic as centre backs. obviously having vidic as a centre back who i considered as world class proves i know absolutely nothing about football, lol. what a bag of shite, he struggles against any centre forward with pace, and im not just basing that on the half time score against west ham. instead i will have john terry who himself is not the fastest but reads the game better than any1. watch terry now have a nightmare against stoke lol.

Come on United I dont want my lot getting any more dragged into the relegation battle than they already are

no sorry yoda it was difficult with the 2 spanish in centre mid, but there was reina if you remember.

mental toughness - not letting any1 break you, cope better than your opponents than the demands placed upon you, not being affected by anything whats going on apart from the game, self belief, focus, motivation. im not the president of the rooney fan club either but to say rooneys not mentally tough like you suggested then after watching that today i dont agree bigguy, im sorry. iv never said he was a world class player and he wouldnt get in my team but when he plays he gives everything and sometimes he spends more time in his own half which as an england fan i dont wanna see that, i wanna see him causing problems for other teams defences. he might have a shit game next game he plays but i dont think you can doubt rooneys mental toughness, and some other england players as well who you never mentioned but im guessing you mean the regular england players. alot of these england players have won alot of trophys with their clubs and they are a big part of their clubs, terry, cole, lampard, gerrard at liverpool and rooney, they wouldnt have won the things they have without any mental toughness.

Great result for my team Dundee United beating the mighty Rangers 3-2 at Ibrox in their own backyard, as Tam Cowan and Stuart Cosgrove on Off The Ball put it, get it right up you, points for most biased commentary today going to Rob Mclean on Radio Scotland, ya bluenose bastard!!! It made the victory all the more sweeter.

It,s a pity Chelsea and Arsenal dropped points today as it now means the title race is almost certainly over, i really can,t see Man Utd dropping enough points in their remaining games for the others to overtake them. As a neutral i wanted it to go down to the last game of the season so it kept things interesting. The bottom of the table is a different matter altogether with any three out of nine sides still capable of going down. I think this is going to be the most exciting end to a season we will have seen in a very long time.

Squeaky bum time for many people me thinks

Just got back from St James' Park, and keystone cops style defending cost us valuable points in the race for survival. Wolves' next three games are crucial. It'll be good to get back to the relative safety of Molineux for two home games now which I think we need maximum points from both.

Anyway a not so good day in the North East was made a bit more entertaining by the crazy coach driver bringing us back to Wolverhampton. Instead of continuing along the M1 until the M42, then through Brownhills which would have led to a straight drive along the Cannock road, he took a bemusing detour through Erdington, Birmingham putting another hour on the journey - still I suppose it gave the Blues fans a chance to take the piss out of us!
