rooney is citing that the abuse he got from west ham fans made him swear, come on she should raise above it. i dont think the fa will reduce the ban from 2games to 1 but instead make it 3.

have you got inside info bigguy ? i know rooney is thick as fuck most of the time but i doubt he would come out with an excuse as poor as that. you dont think the fa will reduce the ban ? dont you mean you hope ? you love for utd never dissapoints lol

Crouch's moments of madness left an already difficult task virtually impossible for Spurs - going a man down so early was always going to put them under the cosh. I hope the second leg can still be entertaining as its a bit of a disappointment with the tie already virtually won by Real.

Looking forward now to tonight's Battle of Stamford Bridge between Chelsea and United. Just don't put Rooney in front of the camera again -he's scaring the kids!!

Spot on Fonz! I've heard that the cameraman actually encroached onto the pitch when Rooney made the comment, which itself is supposedly a breach of the regulations. This present wave of anti-United shit from the FA stems from Ferguson being somewhat naive in defending Rooney after his initial moment of madness at Wigan when he elbowed James McCarthy - ever since then the authorities have been hell-bent on getting their own back.

The meeja are obsessed with United-related stories - when United win they'll perhaps over-sensationalise it so that United fans buy the papers, when United lose or become involved in controversy such as the Rooney swearing or Ferguson's post-match Martin Atkinson comments then the papers turn themselves into pornographic wank-matter for the ABU nation. Then it becomes open season on United and the FA see this as the populist view and act accordingly.

Bigguy would understand this much better if Northamptonshire County Cricket Club were as big, powerful and important an instituiton as Manchester United Football Club.

Like I've said in the past and will doubtless say again: If Manchester United didn't exist the meeja would have to invent them!

i did hint that in my previous posts that the fa (inconsistant bunch of wankers) are taking the 1st opportunity to punish rooney for the "elbow" on mccarthy back in march.

that pic is more like michael mcintyre not rooney.

trust itv to get the game with only 1 goal in it! im guessing it will be the spurs game next week on itv then, and their 4-0 down and i dont wanna speak out of order but it looks like all the other quarter finals are done and dusted to be honest, where as the chelsea man utd game is still in the balance but will only be on sky, it dont make sense to me!
