Without a shadow of doubt mate. Rooney was caught shagging a granny prostitute in his younger days. Did he learn his lesson and change?? No. A few years later he gets caught cheating on his pregnant wife with another pair of hookers. On the pitch he's a sulker and a whinger when things dont go his way. He loses the plot and becomes a liability. He smokes and drinks heavily. He was caught on camera pissing up against the wall of building after leaving a nightclub last summer. He attacked the England supporters on camera in South Africa last summer when they were perfectly entitled to boo an inept performance against the 'mighty' Algeria. As one of his own man utd fans regularly states on here...he's intellectually challenged i.e A THICK ©UNT. There is no doubting the guys ability on the pitch. When he's on song he's gifted. But as a role model to kids and as a human being, Wayne Rooney is the lowest of the low.

And before i'm accused of bias, i'm not saying this with my Liverpool FC hat on. I'm saying it as as a football fan. I have no problem saying that Ryan Giggs is the polar opposite to him and is everything a professional footballer should aspire to be both on and off the pitch.
that is probably the most sensible thing any1 has said on this thread for a while about ryan giggs. giggs could easily have gone down the wrong road but he kept his feet on the ground and looked after himself and cos of that he's still playing 20 years later. one thing what is pissing me off with this rooney business is that when ever some1 of his status lets say does something it seems to make front page news and top of the news headlines. same with this john terry business what went off as well. our factory in the past few months sent a parcel full of stuff to afghanistan where the soldiers told us what kind of things they missed and what they wanted. so we put everything in from toiletries to food, anything really what they needed. a soldier who sent us a personal letter saying thanx died this past week over there and we got told the news today at work and that will probably get a min on the news saying the family have been informed and thats all it will be. where as if a john terry, a wayne rooney or an ashley cole do something they seem to get more headlines than some1 who has lost their lives. i dont get it, i really dont.

have your own opinion, lead dont follow.

When somebody is under the amount of pressure some of these players are under its inevatible that they're gonna snap its just the fact the every time he does it happens in the public eye.

And are some of you telling me you've never done some of the things he's done?

gaz....i'm not a role model for millions and idolised by kids of all ages so if i go and bang a slag, smoke a cigarette or take a piss on the street then firstly it's not gonna make the news and secondly some kid isnt gonna think it's cool. David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Scholes...all these players have had the same pressures as Rooney at man utd...they had the brains and the class to deal with it in the correct way. Especially Beckham after France 98.

And malicious fan....i was being sarcastic mate. Keep your knickers on Tongue

Judge me by my size do you? Hmmm? Hmmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the force. And a powerful ally it is.

As the lads have already said on previous posts... It comes down to fame and money. It's a reflection on todays society that people are more interested in seeing famous footballers getting caught balls-deep inside some slag behind their wives back than seeing what really matters in the world. These kind of stories make people buy newspapers and tune into the news. Sad but true.

But if the prediction is just one game out.... Say Blackpool or Wolves win one game extra or if Aston Villa lose one unpredicted match you could be visiting some very different grounds next year.

The shame would drive you into hidding on this forum. And Foxy and the rest of the blues wouldn't let you forget your lowly position
But the best of luck anyway Wink

I have it on good authority, me, that if you access this so called BBC web page a latent virus will almost certainly destroy your computer system in a few days time. And it will make you impotent.

Better off staying on this forum and playing the in-house prediction thread. Wink
