6th place wont guarantee you europa league because bolton or stoke will claim that place by either winnging the fa cup or as runners up man utd and if man city claim champions league football. if man city finish fifth and win the fa cup then the 6th team gets europa league.

Latest rumour is that Man Utd are trying to sign David de Gea from Atletico Madrid.

He is needed as goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar due to retire in the summer, and reports have emerged in Spain claiming a transfer has already been agreed with Atletico for De Gea.
