It's been brought to my attention this evening via PM by somebody who i wont name ( but he can come forward if he wishes) that the continuous needling from the LFC fans on this thread is beginning to put noses out of joint. Apparantly it's been going about privately by some contributors on here that we are are supposed to think we can get away saying what we want and cant take it when it's given back. The other 2 lads can come out and speak up for themselves if they so wish, i'm just speaking for myself now.

This is a banter thread and banter goes back and forth. If any of the contributors to this thread has issues with my posting and contributions to this thread then please PM me and we'll sort it out. I take no offence by anything anybody says as i know it's needling among rival fans. I was of the opinion everyone else thought along those lines. I certainly dont post anything personal and anything posted on here is done so by me in good humour. It's going to piss people off from time to time but why come onto a football banter thread in the first place if your easily offended when somebody 5lags off your footy team. If somebody 5lags off Liverpool then i'll come back with a rebuke but it's in good faith. I'm hardly gonna bend over and just take it!!! I considered (for a very brief moment) not posting on this thread again if it bothers some lads that much but then i thought fuck it....i enjoy it so i aint gonna stop

Dont like being all dramatic but i felt it needed saying. So anybody with any issues PM me...we'll hug it out

I think Fonz is needling me for a post i made on the Liverpool thread a few weeks back about Liverpool being top of the form table

It might be also a comeback for the Kenny Dalglish is cooler than The Fonz picture post. He even changed his avatar after that one...it's all good though

Well said Yoda. I have to say its a bit strange that people's noses are out of joint in a football banter thread - isn't that the idea of banter? If people are easily offended by their football team being ridiculed, I would advise them not to come on here. I've always found this thread in good heart and never any personal attacks against anyone.

For me its a good laugh. I enjoy the thread and I can take the stick aswell as give it. I find the thread very enjoyable - I get to talk about the beautiful game, aswell as have a bit of fun along the way. And lets face it, sometimes I feel we all need a bit of light relief away from the pressures of everyday life.

Ancelotti is to leave Chelsea at the end of this season.
His team have struggled to score goals and is burdened by a 50 million pound striker who can't score goals.

Marcello Lippi's name is being mentioned, but Roman Abramovich would prefer to have Guus Hiddink but he's now become the Turkey manager.

No mate, i've no issues whatsoever with him. It was said in a civilised conversation we had via PM. If he wants to come out himself and say something then i've no probs with that. Maybe i made more out of it than i should have & in hindsight and with a nights sleep i might not have even posted what i did I aint received any PM's yet anyway so maybe people dont have the problem that had been flagged up or else they aint seen the post yet!!!

On another subject, what a CL semi-final we have in prospect . Barca vs Real....surely the winners will come out of that semi.....SURELY

Obviously absolutely gutted, seeing as we actually played pretty well too, which surprised me. But not really surprised about the result tbh, I've never been so unconfident going into a CL tie, because that United team have got this incredible unbeatable-like attitude, I know Sir Alex's teams usually do, but for me they've took it too another level this year. Partly because in previous seasons they've always had a star player too 'bail' them out (recently Ronaldo, Rooney etc.) which they haven't really had this year, so it wouldn't surprise at all if they win the treble, despite their team being fairly mediocre when compared to Barca, Madrid etc.

But yeah, Well done you jammy gits United I think you had the rub of the green in both matches, but deserved to go through anyway (especially Giggs, who tormented us over the two legs)

On another note it looks like other associations may be jumping on the bandwagon after Rooney's outburst
Robben got a red card at the weekend for using abusive language and the German Football Federation also felt it was worthy of a two-game ban
Ibrahimovic got sent off for something similar as well, and he got a 3 game ban although I think he may have been on a suspended punishment already, not too sure

it ain't me that yoda is on about anyway's, i think it would be hypicrititcal of me to complain about the excessive bullying coming my way from the 3 main "scouser's", (why have you never corrected me on this ?) because i think about 90% ive my post's so far have been aimed at stool fans

word of advice though, if you do "hug it out" with yoda do it behind closed doors because with yoda being slightly taller than a borrower it may seem like he's giving you a blow-job, just a thought
