Liverpool Football Club are (For the next 2 days) the most successful club in England & every season are expected by most to challenge for the title, This I don't understand as we've not won a league title for 21 years & have never won or even challenged for the Premier League yet every season when as you say "their season was pretty much declared a scratch by Feb" which seems to happen almost every season but still people are shocked when we don't get a European Cup place & even tools like Graeme Souness come out with, 'Oh it's gonna take 10 years to turn this team round' yeah try 4 months with all but 4 of the same squad, the reason for statments like this is because Liverpool are under immense pressure to 'get back to the glory days' but most don't realise or just want to ignore the fact that the Premier League is now the most difficult league in world football to compete in & has a history of having only 2 teams challenge for the winners spot i.e. Arsenal taking over from Chelsea in 2011 only for the roll to switch again in the past month or 2, put us in the top 4 next season & that brings even more pressure on us than we already have, I could go on & on with this post but it's already past 01:30am & I wanna go to bed.
I’ll clarify when I say Liverpool have not had any pressure to succeed, I meant Dalglish did not have any pressure to succeed. By the time he came in, many Liverpool fans said along the lines of “we’re now building for next season”. So I find it hard to believe any fans were expecting to be pushing for a European place in January and I’m assuming were probably just hoping for an improvement on their early season form. Obviously, Dalglish has succeeded any ‘expectations’ but there was no pressure for him to succeed in the job, partly because of who he his, which made it a smart appointment, but mainly because of your poor season up till then.
Next season, this won’t be the case with many fans expecting a title challenge, of course, with Suarez, Carroll and maybe some other signings you may well be title challengers next season, but you just have to look at Arsenal to see the difference between playing with and without pressure.

Has gone to the heads of 'some' Chelsea fans & this is the reason for talk like this, the same can/will be said of the Oasis mob, If it wasn't for all the money they'd be in the same boat as Everton & the tw@t Garry Fuck wouldn't be looking so smug, Kaka "Bottled it", oh please!!!
Didn’t understand this part, but anyway obviously we wouldn’t have had the same success without Abramovich’s dough. But we were miles ahead of Citeh before he came along with already being in the Champions League (At the expense of Liverpool I’m sure you’ll remember ) and being serious title contenders a few years prior so comparisons with both them and Everton don’t really work.

Being old enough to remember that team, I'd have to agree. If I remember rightly, it was the first season with Peter Beardsley and John Barnes. Barnes in particular was pretty much unplayable at that time.
There are only three other club teams that rank alongside that one IMO (from my time watching): the Milan team of the early 90s (Gullit, van Basten, Rijkaard), United's treble-winning team (in particular the Beckham-Keane-Scholes-Giggs midfield) and the current Barcelona side. But that discussion probably deserves a thread of its own.
