Interesting part from a recent interview with Rashad Evans.

Evans on Michael Bisping.


"Michael Bisping is something else, because he doesn't really show well but when you're in the cage with him he absolutely is a lot better than he shows. That's one thing I learned by fighting him. And his takedowns have gotten a lot better, I have been impressed by that and by his transitions to those takedowns.

See it's one thing to be able to hit a takedown - anybody at this level in MMA, we all know how to take someone down. But its the little things that make your takedown effective and one of the things is your transition from your punches to your takedown. Bisping has gotten really effective at that transition. That happens to be Anderson Silva's Achilles Heel, the takedown, so it could be a completive fight.

And another thing that Bisping does is, sometimes he just doesn't care, you know? He just doesn't care, he just goes for it. So for people to say it wouldn't be a fight or it wouldn't be close? I wouldn't say that about someone like Michael Bisping.

And I am not like some huge Bisping fan, I just think he can scrap and he is very competitive. Put him in with anyone and he will give it a competitive fight. But then Anderson is something else… put it this way, put Bisping in with Anderson and it would be interesting."

Just heard Brock Lesnar has pulled out of his fight with Junior Dos Santos at UFC131 due to a recurrance of his previous health issues. Shane Carwin will now take his place.

I was looking forward to seeing Lesnar get his ass beat once again but I guess I'll have to wait.

Junior dos Santos v Shane Carwin, 24 wins between them & 15 KO's, this will be a good punch up, I'll go with dos Santos, & I know of a certain someone who'll tell me how Shane Can'twin is gonna hand dos Santos his ass, you know who you are

Obviously it's a shame for Lesnar (hope he makes a quick recovery) and it kind of wastes The Ultimate Fighter show knowing that they aren't gonna fight but im buzzin at the thought of Carwin vs Dos Santos Can't wait for this now!Mitchell you know me too well mate.This is a stand up balls to the wall tear up!!!Carwin will iron this lad out for me and go on to flatten Cain Velasquez

Bad news for Brock Lesnar. Least the UFC has had the time to make a good replacement main event which they weren't able to do for UFC 130 when Edgar and Maynard pulled out this week. Be intresting to see how Carwin performs as it's his first fight since his surgery.

News on Dan Hardy lads.His next fight will be against Chris Lytle at UFC on Versus 5 on August 14th in Wisconsin.Should be a brilliant fight.Both like to stand and fire.

Last chance for Dan Hardy.Dangerous fight for him but i'm glad he fights Lytle and not another wrestler type.

Usually if a fighter drops four, he's done. I think Hardy might just be saved if that happens as I remember a Dana White interview saying he likes him and Hardy's nationality may help for when the UFC fights in the UK. Hardy's one of the most well known UK fighters to US fans.

Usually it's 3 defeats in a row and your out TDK.This for me will definately be Hardy's last UFC fight if he gets beat.4 in a row.He'd get the chop.

I see him winning this though.
