Sport Commentary Gaffes !

During todays tea interval of the 2nd Test between England & Sri Lanka at Lords,following an interview with Englands womens captain Charlotte Edwards.Sky's David Gower described her a the most FAPPED female player in the history of the game ! Atherton & Holding had a chuckle.Yeh I'd knock one out over her.

On RTE TV a few years ago after a Champions League match presenter Bill O Herlihy asked Eamonn Dunphy,John Giles and Liam Brady if they ever got pulled off by their manager at half time, cue slight chuckles from Dunphy and co

not a gaffe but hilarious line from brian johnston (not brian johnson from ac dc) when botham stood on his wicket "just couldn't quite get his leg over".

Ah yes a timeless classic that one. He and Jonathan Agnew just could not stop laughing and Brian Johnston tried to restore order by saying "Oh Aggers do stop it". But both their attempts to be serious failed and they just could not stop laughing. Every time I hear that clip it makes me chuckle. Very funny

On BBC Radio4 Test Match Special,Jonathan Agnew commented on Kevin Pietersen changing the grip on his bat handle by saying "it's not easy putting a rubber on is it Michael ? To much hilarity from Vaughan.Who later when disussing what type Kevin's yellow grip was said "I think it's a ribbed one"
