Okay, instead of taking the piss out Euro-drizzle the second video which I'd forgotten all about in my old age is a piece of Art.

That's right a piece of Art. I am the Arbiter of Art and I've decided that is Art.

Hold on to your hats, fellow Le Tour garcons et filles there will be daily updates as to what constitutes Art and what is just Anglo-Saxon effort.

The Arbiter has spoken. Wink

RE: Tour de France
Today's prize for Art in Le Tour goes to the spectator who caused the crash 9km from home.

I don't like riders getting hurt but it's all part of Le Tour the mad, bad, and frankly dangerous fans.

So hats off to whoever it was.

Keeping up a fine tradition. Wink

Nah, not really first Arbiter of Art Award goes to Phillipe Gilbert who had the bottle to go after, Mr Big Legs, Cancellara when he went for it.

In full national colours as well.

And for those of you not cognescenti, patriotic colours are sooo this season.

Extra Art points.

Wiggins really caught a break. Coming in behind Contador but getting the same time as third place thanks to that crash at 3km. Haven't really worked out how that was decided as they were adrift thanks to the big crash and there's no way they'd have closed the leaders down in the final 3km.

There is no Art today in Le Tour.

Team time trials, can't abide them.

Although on a lighter note. Why are the girls is in the polka dot dresses always hotter. Or is that just me? Wink

Interesting finish to todays stage with a 3rd Category climb right at the end. I think Phillipe Gilbert could get his second stage win of this years tour.

Judge me by my size do you? Hmmm? Hmmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the force. And a powerful ally it is.

Disaster for Team Sky's leader and General Classification (yellow jersey) contender Bradley Wiggins who was caught up in a large crash and has withdrawn from the Tour with a suspected dislocated collar bone.

At least, Mark Cavendish won the stage to claim his 17th victory in three and a third Tours. He really is an awesome sprinter...and his girlfriend is pretty fit as well.

Off into the mountains of the Massif Central for a mountain top finish at Super-Besse Sancy tomorrow - the real Tour starts with these sorts of stages.

Brilliant team performance by HTC in bringing home Mark Cavendish for the win in yesterdays stage..

I've never understood how they arrive at a winner in cycling...
You can win most of the stages and still fail to get into the top fifty.
