Entourage

The HBO (so you know it's good) series chronicles the acting career of Vinny Chase, a young A-list movie star, and his childhood friends (Eric 'E' Murphy, Johnny Drama-Vinny's brother & Turtle) from Queens, as they navigate the unfamiliar terrain of Los Angeles, with the help of their foul-mouthed agent Ari Gold

Its premise is loosely based on Wahlberg's experiences as an up-and-coming film star. The series deals with themes of male friendship and real-life situations in modern-day Hollywood. The show is known for its array of guest stars, usually featuring at least two celebrities per episode.

A show for guys, but I know many girls who watch it as well.

This show is my favourite of all time (barring The Sopranos) because its deal with comedy and drama so well and you often see your favourite actors and actresses pop in for a cameo. Some fantastic stories and characters, and the one liners and quotes in this show cannot be topped, especially if they come from Johnny Drama or Ari Gold.

Love Entourage too, been a fan since season one. Ari has so far converted my Dad and a few people I work with into fans too, lol.

Eighth and final season starts week after next and is being shown over here (although I don't know on what channel) a couple of days after the American broadcast.

I would imagine it would be on Sky Atlantic, they seem to have a lot of HBO shows at the moment

In all honesty though, the 7th season was a bit too dramatic, hopefully this last season will pick up again! Plus, there are rumours of a movie!

Yeah, I'm hoping on a movie too. I've heard that a lot of the cast want to do it and I know Jeremy Piven gets a lot of questions about it on Twitter

The show returns to USA tv on Sunday and on Sky Atlantic on Monday night!

Only 8 episodes, bugger!!! I may have to avoid this thread once it starts as I'm planning on getting all 8 ep's and then mashing through them in one go, lol

That's a good idea! Something I would do, but my brother watches it as well and we like to talk about them afterwards!

Episode 5 is a brilliant episode! It is exactly why Entourage is still a brilliant show. Plus, nice to see slamming hotties Alice Eve and Melinda Clarke appear!
