Doubt it, its just more convenient for them to interact via twitter/facebook. Maybe if more people threatened to rape/mame/kill them they would feel more inclined to come on here and interact with their fans. If anything its not hostile enough for them

Conversely, there was more babes on here interacting back in the 'hostile days'. The notion that babes stop coming on here due to peoples posts etc is a myth. They stopped coming on here because they no longer needed to. Take a look around, who are the babes that do interact on here? They're the lesser established ones, or those on the smaller channels. They need to maintain a fanbase. The rest - they're established names or at least appear on the big hitting channels. What fanbase interaction they wish to maintain can be carried out on twitter/facebook - a platform they can have more control over themselves.
As for what can be done - I don't agree that we should go back to the anything goes days. Those days are gone. like it or not. However, I do feel a general change in the vibe of the place is needed.
My point about the moderators actions on here and the need for recognised rules is not part of an 'agenda' or an attack on the mod team. If anything, a recognised set of rules would help their job and make it less of the chore that it is made out to be. Clear rules, means clear actions, which means they need not have to defend their actions as long as they themselves adhere to them. That frees up the time they have to waste explaining to someone why they have carried out whatever action they undertook. This would also free up some time for them to interact with the forum on a more level basis. One of the main changes of the forum which has created a change in tone is the lack of moderators posting as fans themselves. They have changed from being integral members of the forum themselves, to increasinly being malevolent beings who are watching over for the first sign of wrong doing so as to swoop like vultures (not saying this is what they do, but how it often comes across). It is often said that we are all fans of the channels etc, that's why we are here in the first place. I agree - and it's time the moderators reminded people of this as well......'humanise' themselves again, instead of distancing themselves away from the rest of the forum and appearing to be part of their own, dare I say it, 'clique'
People have already said how the mods do an important job, but it's hard and a thankless task etc, which is fine - but it's not an enforced position. It's voluntary and oif they don't like doing it or find it too stressfull/thankless then they don't have to do it. They are allowed to stop. But making their job easier, by having recognised rules, would allow them to continue with an easier to manage task - and less confusion as to the consistency of 'policies'
