the a and e departments will be full tonight after the police start actually doing something about. send in the dogs, armoured vans. the initial protest ended on saturday and the thugs took over, looting, burning peoples homes and businesses. then a bunch of twats decided to copy whats happening in london. the police are always in a no win situation if they go in and bash a few heads to calm things then they get critised by everyone for being to brutal so the next time they back off and do nothing they get critised for doing nothing. it should be you riot expect to get beaten by the police. the pussy footing do gooders saying the rioters are blah blah blah blaming others and the kids or the parents need their heads checked.

i hope that the yobs get arrest and get the punishment they deserved, only if the legal system allows it.

Don't be a complete jerk. Why the hell would I fire a plastic bullet in a riot situation? If it goes even slightly wrong and somebody is killed (and it will happen, that 41mm piece of hard plastic can kill you easily) then I will receive no support from the media, politicians, senior police officers or ill informed members of the public. It,s about time the politicians did what we elected them to do and start to get tough on these scumbags, suspended sentences and community service just do not work. Everyone convicted should be given a long custodial sentence and during the day made to repair all the damage that was caused and then locked back up at night. Whatever happened to the expression ' looters will be shot on sight '.
