UK Riots

In regards to this whole thing on Mark duggen, let's not beat round here he was in possession of a gun. The fact he was in possession of a gun tells me he intends to use it, whether that be to shoot someone or whether that be to scare someone.
He has, despite what his family say, connections with gangs in that part of north London. He was a known drug dealer and has previous. The officer's involved would have had an idea he was armed by the fact they were armed. I can't obviously give an account of what happened, but I can tell you for now, if I even suspect someone is carrying a gun, I will NOT be taking any chances and will fire first. That surely is the risk you take carrying a gun.

People who want to live this whole gang culture lifestyle and not better themselves are worthless scum. Carrying a knife or a gun on the streets is no way to live your life. You deserve a bullet in the head if you do that, because you are looking to cause distress or harm to others.

People of every race get stopped by the Police all the time. I have been stopped a few times by Police, and I have had more then once my luggage searched at various airports too. I don't take it personally, and I have never kicked up a fuss about it (Apart from when they wanted to drill into a solid wooden ornament I had just brought) I just accept that's the world we live in, I know my rights and deal with the situation in a civilised verbal manner.

What ever your skin colour, the stereotype of the youth today and the way you behave and dress, it won't just be the eyes of the law who look down on you, it will now be a great proportion of society. You have revealed yourselves as complete and utter worthless scum. To say you haven't had opportunities in your life is an over-statement, you have been given the opportunity to live your life, which is more then some and more then I would have given if I was in charge.

My view is that i agree with everything you say, i have only been stopped once by the police and was kindly asked to empty my pockets (was going home from a gig ansd i'm partially deaf i took my hearing aid out at the time for gigs and they got the wrong impression. Mind you they were smartly dressed at the time.)

To those who rioted the last few nights, my message is this:- If you feel society owes you osmething don'ty do it this way. Make the most of your education and get qualifications to build a better future for yourself. Rioting and venting your anger at people doesn't get you the respect that you feel you deserve. if you can show an ounce of deceny, apologise for what you did and do osmething positive to turn your situation around.

This whole horrible business started because a police officer shot a man who was carrying a gun. Regardless of the colour of skin, the man had a threatening weapon that was putting the officer's life in danger. You would expect the officer to fire if he felt his life was in danger.

It also doesn't matter that the gun the man was carrying wasn't fired. The officer obviously felt that the weapon was being used in a threatening manner or he would not have shot.

Race here is not an issue. If another person from any other ethnic group had the gun and was threatening someone's life, the officer would probably have no choice but to fire. And now I've seen kids from all races, all walks of life, all backgrounds involved in the rioting. Grammar school students, teaching assistants, 11 year old boys, 40 year old men, black youths, white youths, asian youths. The point is there are people here who are getting involved with something simply because they can. They probably have no concept of what started this in the first place, its just an excuse to get involved with something. The police on the other side - there are black police officers, white police officers, Asian police officers. Race, colour, creed takes no importance here.

I thought the father of the murdered boy in Birmingham last night was very dignified on the news. "No-one else should die" were his words.

You know what? He's right.

if the rioters put the same engery into getting a job or education or anything thats legal then they could do great things.

also the media and the bamby pamby do gooders should not criticse the police in the future if they have to be heavy hand with yobs and hooligans.

What a bunch of Kunts but the worrying thing from all that is that the police from that vid in Manchester are gonna be probed, ffs this country is a joke, stop trying to tie the police officers hands

If any of those yobs/chavs or looters come down to my area I'm cracking skulls!!!!!
