Well said mr mystery the rules should apply to all not selective. Some of the channels have a non uk licence this is unfair competition to the channels who come under ofcom control.

agree but a lot more of the complaints to the channels actually come from rival channels and not members of the public

Agreed but some "in breach" rulings have allegedly come from Ofcoms own routine monitoring , so why aren't they routinely monitoring other channels that are still doing every thing that Elite and RLC seem to be prevented from doing , it's smells to me , there is something dodgy going on with Ofcom , are they turning a blind eye for some reason were some channels are concerned ? . Even if complaints are from rival channels Ofcom should know this and throw them out , i can't for the life of me see how some channels get away with what they do while RLC and Elite get found in breach if a girl so much as sneezes . If Ofcom want to do their job properly they should enforce the same rules and regulations on all babe channels even those with a over seas licence and not just on a few , other wise like "Broncobilly" says it's unfair competition .

Life is short . Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile .

dont know and it is unfair that they are seemingly targeting certain channels and not others and agree it is dodgy what they are doing and with no apparent explanation as all the channels have to follow the same rules

hopefully ofcom will stop targeting rlc and rlc can be back to its best on a consistent basis

Well mr mystery I've said it a few times, there's only one channel that seems untouchable by ofcom and that's bs, it's the only explanation that makes sense that theyre behind the complaints

RE: Red Light Central - Chat & Discussion
Couple of theories.
a) Its all to do with the Dutch Licence. Not sure about this as if Ofcom wanted they could punish BS in other ways.

b)How 'big' are BS as a company? RLC are new, so just starting out. Elite are getting bigger but have only been around for a few years. If BS are pretty 'big' then ofcom know that if they push them some heavyweight lawyers will get involved. And they know that they don't have a leg to stand on in court (esp the european one), so only throw their weight around when they know they won't get any legal comeback.

Neither may be anywhen near the mark, but both are possible.

Interesting theories but all wild speculation and pretty unlikely. The problem with RLC is that they have a lot of former Bang Babes girls and a lot of former Bang Babes staff and we all know that Bang Babes was found by Ofcom to be unfit to broadcast. It makes sense that Ofcom would monitor RLC closely to make sure all these unfit to broadcast former Bang Babes people working at RLC don't start getting up to their old tricks.

Yes remember that after being found unfit to broadcast Bang Babes tried to come back disguised as Xplicit TV. Ofcom may suspect that now they are trying to come back disguised as Red Light, so it's not suprising if they are keeping a watch on Red Light in case they are Bang Babes on the quiet.

Red don't break any rules at all all the girls
Remind the callers they should be 18 or over to call
The rival channels just don't like competition so take the easy route complaining to ofcom instead of upping there own game.

But maybe if they upped their own game RLC would complain about them. Red Light management have been quick enough to get posts they don't like on here removed, so they are certainly petty enough to complain about other channels.
