Sat on a bus the other week, having to put up with a guy on the phone to a friend, whose conversation went summat like this .....
"I told him, ya know, that he had to, ya know, sort it out, you know, It's his choice. Yeah, I told him, ya know, but he ain't interested in, ya know, like doing what he's gotta do....!"

After at least ten minutes of this constant drivel, I really don't know how I stopped myself from grabbing that phone and throwing it out the open window...?? It's bad enough when someone has a loud full blown conversation when you're trying to have a peaceful ride (bus ride that is), without having morons like this guy showing just how unskilled they are in the art of the English language. Such a waste of a brain (sic) and human body...!!!!

P.S. And I also sincerely apologise for my own regular use of acronyms and shortened words here and there on the forum... 'Lol', 'pmsl', etc.....as well as my continual use of only lower case letters; usually; but it's the style I've gotten used to while doing such forums; whatever the subject. I do however use proper grammar, capitalisation, and punctuation when I am making a strong point, such as now. The difference between here and on that flaming bus, is that you can choose not to read this, or ignore me..that day I had no choice but to sit and seethe; everyone else, who I could also see were pretty unhappy; but all also far to polite to say or do anything to the idiot. K.

Reaction from a football manager to a controversial referee decision going in their teams favour. "To be fair I didn't see it". Alternatively when the decision goes against them - "How the ref didn't see that I just don't know, I could see it from yards away". Dare I suggest selective vision might be coming into play?
