I forgot it was on.
UFC 135 ESPN 2am
Nate Diaz v Takanori Gomi
Both need a win & I think Diaz will get it by triangle choke during a spot of groundnpound by Gomi, round 2 maybe??? -
Diaz Submission
Travis Browne v Rob Broughton
Two UFC new comers. Browne's 11-0 with 1 draw & 9 KO's so Braughton will have his work cut out, Broughton's got good fight experience 15-5 but this is a big step up, he's got a good almost even mix of KO's (7) & subs (5) so it could be a decent match up albeit quick one. -
Browne TKO
Ben Rothwell v Mark Hunt
I've only seen Rothwell in his 2 UFC fights 1-1 but he's 31-7 KO's 18 Subs 10 overall & at 6f 5in & 265lb is a big unit.
I can't really remember Hunt's first 2 UFC fights but he's giving away a lot of hight here so might need to use his 30-13, 13 KO's kickboxing record if he's to improve his 6-7 MMA record, that said his record does come from Pride, Dream & the UFC with wins over Wanderlei Silva, Cro Cop & losses to Fedor & Overeem. -
Rothwell KO
Matt Hughes v Josh Koscheck
Didn't care for this fight before the injury & albeit this looks a bit more exciting I'm still not fussed. -
Koscheck Groundnpound
Jon Jones v Quinton Jackson
Jones is unbeaten bar the DQ v Hamill but I still think he's got big tests to come & at this stage aren't sure if he is gonna rule like GSP & Anderson Silva. I think Ryan Bader thought he was the one who would go on to do what Jones has so might have took him a little lightly & Shogun himself still has something to prove at the top in the UFC & this is why for me Jones still has some way to go before people start saying he's a dominant force, this should be a decent test.
I say decent test but that will be decided on which Rampage enters the cage as in his UFC career he's somewhat struggled to keep a consistant run going against the top level fighters. I've not seen any of the build up but have heard he looks good but this has been said before & with Jones being a great controling wrestler & Rampage hating to fight wrestlers this maybe another one of those performances unless he can start off on the front foot & chase down Jones but it's what happens if Jones gets an early dominating takedown that might set out how this fight goes. I don't have any clue how this is gonna finish so will go rock, paper, sissors. Errr... -
Rampage Groundnpound
Although someone already got this result down o Rampages Wiki page but it's since changed while I've been doing this post.
