Goin to be a great fight between st pierre and diaz wish cro cop would have retired after he won the pride belt its been painful to watch him in the ufc

You were saying .
Diaz/Penn was one of the best fights this year. Penn can take a beating, the second round was a big one for Diaz. If Penn does indeed call it a day, he'll be in the UFC Hall of Fame.
Glad Donald Cerrone won again, he could be only one or two wins away from a UFC Lightweight Championship fight. Hope so as I like him.
After two years I've finally given myself an avatar and a signature as well! It's like a bus, you wait for one for ages and two come at once!

Lol I call them like i see them mate, what can i say? That's the UFC for u! Thought Mitrione would have too much for Kongo? I thought Mitrione won the first 2 rounds. Although not much happened, he was on the front foot for both. Kongo had a decent finish to the fight although he pretty much lay on Mitrione for the duration of the last round. Really cautious fight from both of them. Can't see the top Heavyweights losing any sleep over either after last night.
Cerrone deserves a title shot now for me. 6 wins on the bounce over some good opponents is usually enough to get a shot. He's right up there. The last time he lost was against Ben Henderson @ WEC48. Think he's improved no end since then. Stacked division though!
Nick Diaz can fight. There's never been a doubt about that. Great fight last night. He brought everything i thought he would, Heart, guts and the desire to scrap. My hats off to him for standing with a UFC legend and beating him at his own game. BJ looked exhausted after a round and a half. I thought Diaz would've been out of his depth against a fighter like Penn. He proved me wrong.
Who was the mug who told him to call out GSP? No part of his game can stand with St-Pierre's. But he'll get his shot at Georges no doubt. He's tailor made for GSP to take apart with ease i reckon, any fight between the two would last for as long as Georges wanted it to. I think the gulf between them both is huge.
If Nick Diaz was a sound lad and didn't act like a complete tool in the build up to and aftermath of every fight he's in, then i'd like him. The fact that he's such a beaut just makes me despise the lad lol Some of his team are just as bad.
Condit will step aside to let Diaz and GSP fight on Super Bowl weekend. Feb 4th
Just read this from GSP: "He's the most disrespectful human being I've ever met, and I'm going to put the worst beating you've ever seen on him in the UFC."

I've not seen this fight yet but I did say 'Bartimus' KO & round 1 sounds pretty sweet. Dennis Siver v Donald Cerrone
I haven't seen this yet either, eventhough I got the prediction wrong I'm not surprised by the outcome given that was his 13 submission win 10 of which have been by a choke. Hatsu Hioki v George Roop Scott Jorgensen v Jeff Curran
My last beer last night was also my taxi money so I had to walk home & missed all but the last few minutes of the last round of the Scott Jorgensen win. Mirko Filipović v Roy Nelson "I can see Cro Cop being nervous once again & still struggling to throw kicks & Nelson just standing there looking for the big KO shot, in which case it'll only be a matter of time before Cro Cop is dropped & Nelson wins by ref stoppage due to groundnpound." Who said this... No not Martin Luther King... No not Sir Winston Churchill nor was it Cassius Marcellus Clay or Jimmy Savile. So who was it, well now then now then how's about this then, it was me Mitchell Cheick Kongo v Matt Mitrione "Can't believe both u lads (TDK,Mitchell!!!) have Kongo down to beat Mitrione.... This lad's the real deal, a late bloomer with just the 5 fights at 33 but the real deal none the less. He'll knock Kongo out!!!" - groundnpound2011 B.J. Penn v Nick Diaz "This is a very hard fight to call & many will say it'll be a decision win I don't wanna call it as that." I guess I should've done.
This was everything I expected it to be with both fighters going for it on the feet & getting dusted up. BJ started well but as soon as Diaz found his range with the reach advantage he started to dominate big time, but all credit to BJ for going the distance.
I can't wait to see Nick Diaz fight GSP as this will be the truest test either has ever faced & both are top of the class in all aspects of their game with the difference being GSP is a better wrestler & Diaz the better striker. Title or no title this is gonna be one of the greatest fights of all time!!!

The lad's tough and likes a scrap and he's obviously a pretty decent fighter who's beaten whats been put in front of him but imo he won't cut the mustard in with the UFC elite. He'll bring heart and plenty of guts and it's just aswell coz i reckon he'll need plenty of both! Should be entertaining later but Penn to stop him B.J. Penn vs. Nick DiazPennKO Punches Rnd 1

No,no and no lol
Diaz isn't in GSP's league mate. The difference isn't only St-Pierre being a better wrestler, he's miles better at everything. Including the striking department. More accurate and more precise. The guy can adapt and adjust to any situation and any style of fight. The gap in the ability of both fighters is ridiculous. It won't be one of the greatest fights of all time, but it will be one of the greatest one sided beat downs of all time.
Jesus dude!!! If they gave out titles for presistence then you Mr groundnpound would be a dominant world champion.

You may wanna save this as there's a real possibility you may need to post it again.

You know me mate, heart firmly on sleeve at all times lol It's in the water
I love the way Diaz fights. Just don't like him as a lad. It's not a dig at him saying he's not in GSP's league, neither is anyone else in the UFC, with the exception of Anderson Silva. I will save those words about Diaz, as you say, i'll probs use them again if i'm around long enough. But it won't be against GSP in my view.
The only fighter i can see testing St-Pierre is Anderson Silva. The sooner it happens the better.
On a different note, George Roop was robbed last night. Another shocker from the UFC judges.
UFC 66: Liddell vs. Ortiz on C5 just now. Legendary stuff.

Think this is gonna be the event poster for UFC 138. I've seen a few around but this is the only one with all the official logos and stuff at the bottom.
