Babestation OSG

The giant 'CALL NOW! GIRL ON GIRL CALL!' message was bad enough in its original form with the text 'floating' in front of the screen image, but the new method of putting it onto an opaque charcoal grey banner stretching across the full width of the screen is yet another massive pain-in-the-arse backward step.

The thing is babestation, by the sounds of it you're wasting time and money developing an entire new system when there was no need. What was and is needed is someone at Cellcast with a modicum of common sense and visual awareness.

You do not need to invest in new technology, just stop plastering the screen with unnecessary and unwanted visual junk. All you do is piss people off, and that does not generate sales.

Your new graphics may well look more shiny and modern, but if you continue to use them in the same way nothing would've been achieved.

We have a lot of people with far more than a modicum of common sense, hence how we started this genre of Tv which you are enjoying now and the fact we're still here 9 years later.

What you seem to forget, and common sense would tell u, is that everything in business is done for profit. The unnecessary junk you talk of, although annoying to the minimal audience who watch every minute of the show, appeals to our target audience and works, otherwise it wouldn't be there.

If we did things relying on what's said on here, rather than looking at the actual figures, we wouldn't still be in business 9 years on and counting, as the mass of our market simply don't watch the channel for 8 hours like you might.

And this justifies changing an already highly annoying graphic into one which is even more intrusive . . . how, exactly?

How do you know that you appeal to your target audience? How do they voice the opinion to you that they adore your OSG? Do you conduct customer satisfaction surveys of callers? Are not the very people in this forum part of your target audience too?
You seem to dismiss everything that is said on here as though it is totally irrevelant. Yes people on here do moan, sometimes people do rant on hysterically but to indicate that what is said on here is wrong or uneducated denies belief.
The fact that you have callers indicates one thing only-there are plenty of horny people out there wanting to chat to hot, beautiful girls (and some not so hot!). So yes you will always get callers. Shit, you could blank the screen completely and put grannies on the phone and you would still get some desperados calling!(please do not get ideas!!)
I call quite regularly but don't count that as loyalty to your show. I am loyal so long as the girl I speak to remains under contract with you. She goes, then so will my money. All the advertising in the world will not make a difference.
Get beautiful looking girls who have a great personality and you are onto a winner-plaster them over with OSG and carry on with constant interuptions and you simply risk pissing your audience off...even possibly your 'mass target audience' who just tune in for a 2 minute tug before a happy slumber!

i personally don't like the OSGs either, but the simple fact is that they work and make money, so it's very hard to justify removing them.

the new OSG system is a much more controlled environment, so they cant just throw a black box up on screen, if they want a sales tool our graphics team will create it and enable the functionality.

who exactly said the new OSG is even more intrusive?

quite like how BS daytime xtra is where they have the pic info and stuff on the screen behind the girl surely it could be implmented into the sets. best of both worlds got the girl shaking her money maker in front and the pic info and stuff going on behind her.

It's self-evident that a solid opaque banner right across the whole width of the screen has to be more intrusive than having only the text 'floating' in front of the screen image.

Funny,but have got so used to the osg that i completely ignore them now,the only thing i take notice of is the number at the bottom of the screen,
