You know what? I couldn't agree more. I wouldn't be surprised if UEFA end up increasing the ban on Rooney therefore, making it nigh on impossible for Crapello to take him to the Euros!! I get the feeling the FA appeal will be thrown out by them, no matter whatever the FA says in it's appeal, and they will be made to look like idiots. Rooney should accept his ban like a man. If C. Ronaldo did the same thing, would the Portugesde FA appeal against it?

Spitting in football is disgusting, especially if you've not been able to play because of a recent virus - it is one way to spread lethal viruses and should be treated as a red card offence immediately and and player disclipnary points, followed by a automatic month's suspension by the club.

I think it it time the FA allowed clubs to place their players who spit on automatic suspension, rather than haul them before their own disciplinary panel. Not only that, it is time for managers to get tougher on players who do this, make an example of them.
It is is a habit that has no place in football, and with young fans watchimg at games, it is bad example to set in public to them.

Well I reckon Machester City need to cut Tevez loose if he won't come back, he's dropped his appeal anyway. They should be glad to be rid of him. i hope no majot club in Europe will buy him so he can rot in Argentina and hope the Argentinian FA take note and never pick him for their international side. The overgrown egostical prick should be left to rot in the lower leagues of Argentinian club football.

As for the arm band thing FIFA should make a sizeable donation to the Poppy appeal - courtesy of Sepp Blatter's wages for six months!! And then they should be forced to watch an online repeat for a week, the Cenotaph Service on Sunday just to show them why we pay our respects to those heroes who are alive for what they did for us in the two world wars - and for us now, and why we pay respect to those who never came back, and what the poppies means to us.
