After reading that statment I don't see us laying down like we did with Jay's red card, it sounds like we're ready to take them to the cleaners!!!

When/if John Terry gets found guilty I wonder if they'll ask Stevie to be their captain, the comical bastards wouldn't surprise me.

I agree with both of you. The FA are a bunch of wankers.

RE: Liverpool FC
So I'm presuming that they is more evidence then Evra saying Suarez racially abused him and a lip reader predisposed to what he has been told Suarez had said looking at video footage of the incident!

Because without an independent witness such a conviction would be on very shaky ground like the East Fife Defender Keith Fotheringham's 8 game ban for racially abusing Gregory Tade.

RE: Liverpool FC
LFC's superb, spot on statement. The best i've ever heard. Boss. Have that F.A. WAR.

Liverpool Football Club is very surprised and disappointed with the decision of the Football Association Commission to find Luis Suarez guilty of the charges against him.

We look forward to the publication of the Commission's Judgment. We will study the detailed reasons of the Commission once they become available, but reserve our right to appeal or take any other course of action we feel appropriate with regards to this situation.

We find it extraordinary that Luis can be found guilty on the word of Patrice Evra alone when no-one else on the field of play - including Evra's own Manchester United teammates and all the match officials - heard the alleged conversation between the two players in a crowded Kop goalmouth while a corner kick was about to be taken.

The Club takes extremely seriously the fight against all forms of discrimination and has a long and successful track record in work relating to anti-racist activity and social inclusion. We remain committed to this ideal and equality for all, irrespective of a person's background.

LFC considers racism in any form to be unacceptable - without compromise. It is our strong held belief, having gone over the facts of the case, that Luis Suarez did not commit any racist act. It is also our opinion that the accusation by this particular player was not credible - certainly no more credible than his prior unfounded accusations.

It is key to note that Patrice Evra himself in his written statement in this case said 'I don't think that Luis Suarez is racist'. The FA in their opening remarks accepted that Luis Suarez was not racist.

Luis himself is of a mixed race family background as his grandfather was black. He has been personally involved since the 2010 World Cup in a charitable project which uses sport to encourage solidarity amongst people of different backgrounds with the central theme that the colour of a person's skin does not matter; they can all play together as a team.

He has played with black players and mixed with their families whilst with the Uruguay national side and was Captain at Ajax Amsterdam of a team with a proud multi-cultural profile, many of whom became good friends.

It seems incredible to us that a player of mixed heritage should be accused and found guilty in the way he has based on the evidence presented. We do not recognise the way in which Luis Suarez has been characterised.

It appears to us that the FA were determined to bring charges against Luis Suarez, even before interviewing him at the beginning of November. Nothing we have heard in the course of the hearing has changed our view that Luis Suarez is innocent of the charges brought against him and we will provide Luis with whatever support he now needs to clear his name.

We would also like to know when the FA intend to charge Patrice Evra with making abusive remarks to an opponent after he admitted himself in his evidence to insulting Luis Suarez in Spanish in the most objectionable of terms. Luis, to his credit, actually told the FA he had not heard the insult.

RE: Liverpool FC
I said this could happen, we seriously missed Lucas tonight & Charlie Adam was caught out big time with his lack of pace when trying to track back on the few occasions he did.

Why he didn't let Luis Suarez take that penalty I'll never know. We're in desperate need of a goal scoring striker in the form of Darren Bent & Jermain Defoe who'll play direct straight into the box while Suarez does what he does. If Nicolas Anelka was a free agent then we've missed the biggest sitter of our season there!!!

Very disappointed with the result last night. We need to buy a striker in January, if we don't I do not think we will be in the top four.

RE: Liverpool FC
I've been trying to see if I could find out what strikers could be available in January & stumbled across this.

Liverpool Football Club - Transfers, Rumours, News

Players rumoured in at Liverpool FC (since 31/Aug/2011)

Lucas Rodrigues Moura da Silva - Sao Paulo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucas_Rodri...a_da_Silva
Adam Johnson - Manchester City (We should've got him when we had the chance, zero chance now)
Seydou Keita - Barcelona (We don't need him)
Gaston Ramirez - Bologna http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gast%C3%B3n_Ram%C3%ADrez
Paco Alcacer - Valencia (There's more chance of groundnpound seeing Patrice Evra Christmas shopping in Liverpool One) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francisco_Alc%C3%A1cer
Emmanuel Adebayor - Manchester City
David Villa - Barcelona (He's just broke his shin)
Wilfried Zaha - Crystal Palace
Christian Eriksen - Ajax (Already said he doesn't wanna play for us.... Prick!!!)
Jan Vertonghen - Ajax (We don't need a defender) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jan_Vertonghen

Players rumoured out of Liverpool FC (since 31/Aug/2011)

Steven Gerrard - FC Anzhi Makhachkala Bounce
Luis Suarez - Real Madrid Rolleyes
Danny Wilson - Leeds (Good loan move)
Luis Suarez - Barcelona Rolleyes
Dirk Kuyt - Inter Milan (Wouldn't bother me if we got the £9m they were offering in August)
Jon Flanagan - Bolton (Good loan move)
Raheem Sterling - Bolton (Good loan move)

December rumours

Cheick Tiote - Newcastle
Mesut Ozil - Real Madrid Sad
Tom Huddlestone - Tottenham Sad

He'll probably end up going to Anzhi Makhachkala for £200,000 a week but El Hadji Diouf's contract with Donny Rovers ends in January & Craig Bellamy's done well since he came back, having both of these as a striking option wouldn't be a bad thing. Talking of Doncaster Rovers, Billy Sharp could be up for sale for £3m & he's the kind of predator that could score goals in the Premier League especially with the amount of chances we create.

I was watching the LFCTV post match phone in & some were saying we need to give Adam Morgan, Nathan Eccleston or Raheem Sterling a chance to shine but David Fairclough doesn't think they should be thrown in & too much expected of them. How does he think Daniel Sturridge & Javier Hernandez got their chances & they aren't exactly doing bad are they. If, probably when Suarez gets banned I'd love to see one of the young strikers get his chance but I just don't think it's gonna happen.

Put the sherry down Mitchell!! The first thing i thought when i read Diouf's name in your post was that someone must've hacked your account!!!!! He wouldn't get anywhere near Anfield again! Dig out your Carra autobiography and have a read!!! The guy's a joke.

You've went daft lad Rolleyes

Cant believe Shelvey didn't keep his place after Villa, the lad's a world beater. Would like to see Carroll get more minutes on the pitch, i'd defo start him on Monday. Sterling to get a few appearances soon for me, looks dynamite, a little gem.

On the striker side of it, i've read a lot about Leandro Damiao from Brazil coming in... He looks like a finisher, the new Ronaldo (Brazil) so they say... So maybe he could be the man? Would love to see Carroll step up to the plate though and take his chance when he gets it...All it would take is for him to bang a couple in against someone and he'd have his place back in the side.
