RE: Liverpool FC
I've not read Carra's book, enlighten me....
Till then, dude we need a striker & given the chance to play up front & not on the wing, i.e. Monsieur Houllier he'll do a decent job, I'm pretty sure he's all grown up now.
Yeah I know you've got faith in Andy Carroll but he ain't done shit yet & Kenny giving him 6 minutes yesterday should tell you where he's at at the minute. "We need goals, fast"!!!
Premier League goals average per the 17 games so far.
1. Manchester City - 4.00
2. Blackburn Rovers - 3.65
3. Bolton Wanderers - 3.59
4. Arsenal - 3.41
5. Manchester United - 3.29
6. Chelsea - 3.24
7. Tottenham Hotspur - 3.19
19. Swansea City - 2.18
20 Liverpool - 1.94
We're second overall to Arsenal in this table. (Stats per game)
Shots on target - 7.47 (6th highest)
Shots wide - 9.41 (2nd to Man City)
Corners - 9.12 (Top by 1.53)
Off side - 3.53 (Top)
Possession - 55.24% (2nd to Arsenal)
This table makes the 1.94 goals per game look bleak when you see Blackburn & Bolton 2nd & 3rd in the goals chart, yes they're there due to the amount they've conceded but they've both scored 4 & 2 more than us.
Steven Gerrard's back at some point in the next 2 to 3 weeks but he's gonna need 3 to 5 games to get up to full fitness, but given we need goals &
Luis Suarez is gonna be missing I think he'll play in his most dangerous position just off the striker but he's not played there in the 4-4-2 formation & he's used to playing just off the Spaniard with the ball coming up the field from a central position & not playing off Andy Carroll with the ball coming in from the boot of Stewart Downing near the left corner flag.

RE: Liverpool FC
You've taken me aback with this Diouf thing mate... No more sherry til Christmas day!!!! Diouf's despised in Liverpool and most other places! He wouldn't be allowed back through the gates.
Carra basically says he couldn't stand the guy. That he'd never met a player who cared less about losing a game. He said Diouf would pull into Melwood after a defeat, music blasting from his car, not giving a f**k.
Diouf then did an interview with the s*n saying:
"Carragher is just a guy who loves to talk. Carragher, for me, is nothing," 'If Liverpool had 10 players like Carragher, then they would never win anything.
"He’s like a make of ketchup or mustard to a normal person, not important. I played for Liverpool for two years and Carragher never spoke to me. That’s life, some people are like that."
"He was jealous of me - that’s why he talked about me. Because when I came to Liverpool I earned more than him and I was a bigger name than him."
"I took my country to the World Cup and to the finals of the African Nations Cup.'So Carragher can’t criticise me because, to me, he has done nothing with his life."
"Carragher doesn’t sell papers, Carragher doesn’t sell shirts."
Trust me mate, he'll never be a red.
NO MORE FOR MR MITCHELL!!!!
I want Carroll to do well for us. Stevie could bring the best out in him for me, he needs some time on the pitch though and when he gets it he's got to score and force his way into the side.

We really need to start scoring more goals if we want even a small chance of making the top 4!!!
Pah! What a load of rubbish! You want to try being an Everton fan, my deluded friend. How many league titles have you got, okay the horrible people from down the East Lancs road have overtaken you but you've still got your five, that's right, five big eared cups to keep you warm in dark times.
I suffered, suffered as a kid growing up supporting Everton while my glory hunting Liverpool mates laughed in my face when they were winning everything in sight. Get a grip of yourself, you support one of the most iconic clubs on the planet, meh it's a bit shitty at the moment, well duh, welcome to the place that the fans of most other clubs inhabit.
And I write this in the full knowledge that fans of clubs in the lower leagues would dream of Everton's continuing success in the top flight of English football. There is nothing wrong with being a hypocrite when it comes to supporting your team.
Oooh that was a bit of a rant. Sunderland got lucky today!
