I think the management should get most of the criticism here. If you could get by at your job by laying down and standing up every 10 minutes for 30 seconds than going back to laying down, would you? Of course, everyone would. Why would the models put fourth tonnes of effort to please the viewers when theyre not encouraged to by their bosses? Back in 2010 before they censorship got out of control and the 241's were rampant, each night looked like a damn party and the girls were having fun. Im assuming that losing the 241's and therefore losing the party atmosphere has put a damper on the nights for the models as much as us viewers.
241's were basically the backbone of this channel and seeing as how BS is testing out the waters lately, maybe in a few months time we can get some genuine 241's back. Which will lead to more fun for the girls and in turn more enjoyable shows for us. An erotic chain reaction of sorts

Disagree a bit oklahoma with what you're saying. I still think there is still a fun/party atmosphere elite and most nights you can see the elite babes having fun with the crew behind the scenes and there is still the odd moment of fun between babes on screen. I still think a lot of the blame should be aimed at ofcom not the elite bosses as they've kept tightening the rules under which elitetv run and have investigated elite a lot in the past and as a result elite have been cautious which has worked as now they haven't had any serious punishment in ages

I will agree with you hoping the 241's elite used to do can comeback and help boost elite back to its best

Yes I think Elite has interpreted the ofcom rules too stridently but even if the rules were relaxed by the management in the same way as the 2010 shows I honesty don't think they have the right blend of models to recapture the magic, nothing personal against any of them but the majority of them just don't have what it takes to match previous years and I think a massive clear out would have to realistically be undertaken with many either moving on or onto the day shows. Elite has far too many soft models now, they lack any kind of backbone to the show and it just doesn't have the feel of a nightshow anymore. This is my honest assessment of the show as it currently stands

Fair enough scottishbloke that you think the current night roster of elite couldn't take advantage of the rules if they were relaxed. I do think they can as they've showed in the past on elite or on their previous channels. Also think they've got a good mix/blend of babes with something for everyone

Only a handful I feel could take advantage if the rules were indeed relaxed such as Caty Cole, Sophia Knight, Charlie O'Neil and possibly Fernando if she was given more night shows as I'd expect the rest would continue in exactly the same manner that we are seeing at present, if the rules change, I hope that I am pleasantly surprised to see otherwise

Hate to disagree, but, I disagree

2010' was a great year, and I thought Elite was the best channel by far! They would certainly amp it up again if the rules were relaxed, because they certainly did two years ago when Ofcom wasn't so overbearing.

As for the soft model comment. I don't know what you mean. To me, there's a nice balance there, with Caty, Charlie, Rachel, Becky, Fernanda, Dionne etc. They are attractive and with nice bodies, and none of them are afraid to get down and naughty (Ashley did some nude shows as well in the past, and Mica isn't shy). Babestation I only used to watch for some of the less fake women, and because they had less tame solo shows. What I found odd was that Elite had tamer solo shows, but less tame 2-4-1s in comparison to Babestation's usually tame ones. Now, Babestation has cut loose a bit, and I find that to be the best channel, yet Elite still has more women that I prefer. After last year, I just want to see less censorship, which is why I watch Babestation more now. If only Elite was allowed to show what Babestation shows, then we'd be in luck!

Anyway do we know Elite is making a profit ? , down sizing in the way they have by going back to a Sky tv and web only company and giving up the expensive freeview and freesat EPG viewing platform my hint other wise , Elite already have a freeview licence of their own and a freeview channel name , but they failed to purchase their own air time , i wonder why .

You know a channel is struggling when they feel the need to use certain tactics in order to get the customer to part with their money. Basically, the fact that Elite TV is now using the classic 'censored pics' OSG tells you all you need to know. Oh, and last year they were even advertising Elite TV pens. Yes, pens!

Just thought i'd mention that my post that chilly has quoted has been removed , i was just about to edit it slightly and my bloody cat jumped on my laptop pressed a few things rolled all over it and my post disappeared lol .

That's certainly been noticed, but I hope that's not an excuse. Some of those girls certainly think they're only there to have a good time with their workmates and crew, with taking calls and performing for the punters ,who are actually funding them, an annoying distraction.

Thankfully most of the newer recruits and porn stars have injected a better work ethic.

Thats true, but we'll see how they are in 1 or 2 months time when they too get more comfortable with the crew.
