Im also in, (actually signed up yesterday and forgot to post).

I fully intend on giving m100 a run for last place as I tend to only check for the first few weeks then remember again at the end of the season

We've reached 18 teams now.

To get my excuses in early, in case of a poor performance, this is the first time I've played this game!

How about the mods PM everyone on the forum to let them know about the league. This thread is tucked away at the bottom of the forum where most people won't find it.

Well Carlton Palmer was actually a decent player with 700 career appearances, including 350 in the top flight over 11 seasons. Can't be bad, 11 seasons at the top level, regardless of what people think of his 18 England caps.
