Problems receiving or recording the shows

Okay....

newbie here...

what's goin on!!???

As mentioned previously, I couldn’t get BS2 at all last night, and this was with various STBs & an IDTV, of different makes, fed from separate antennas, no PVRs in the mix,so no recording complications, just a straight broadcast.
I re-tuned, tried switching between channels, and checked at various points up until circa 03.00; nothing, no picture or sound, as if no channel was being broadcast!

Also, I notice that, once again, ‘Big Deal’, on ch32, is not available tonight, the second night in a row – I hope this does not mean that BS2 is going to be unavailable again!

Talking of ch32, can anyone else get PP from 03.00-0700, as advertised during the short section of PP after one of the other channels (I forget which one?), because I can’t?

Finally, does anyone know which multiplex BS2 is on?

I have Ch 32 Big Deal with no problems.

No - at least I can't. I think they've been showing out-dated messages. A few days back they were showing a promo saying 'Check out a new show on Ch 37 10pm to 5am every day retune ur box now' which must date from when Big Deal launched on that channel.

Edit: And that exact same promo is on BS1 as I type. Wtf are they playing at?

No BS2 again last night

A few observations:-

1. BS2 has been unavailable for the last 2 nights, the same with Bid Deal.

2. Tuning into BS2 prior to 01.00, the usual ‘Babestation, tune in at 01.00, follow us on Twitter…’ message was displayed. Doing the same on Big Deal revealed nothing.

3. The two nights that there has been no BS2 transmission coincides with Tamestation 3 (aka PG) starting at 01.00 rather than 00.00, though BS2 HAS been available over past weekends.

4. Some people are getting BS2, which suggests it varies according to the local transmitter.

5. There is supposed to be a major overhaul of the Freeview channel line-up at the end of September – could some transmitters require preparatory work for this, resulting in the loss of transmission for some channels? Having said that, Tamestation is on the same multiplex as BS2, but remains on air, so the entire Mux is not affected.

6. Tuning into Big Deal today reveals a ’Big Deal, tune in at 10.00…’ message, and tonight (tomorrow morning) marks the return to normal hours for TS3; If there is a connection with the above & the lack of BS2, then fingers crossed that BS2 will be back ‘on-air’ tonight/tomorrow.

Me too nothing at all on CH42 for the last few nights, as said before it looks like no feed is being sent out.

As Censorship says, it must be something to do with specific transmitters. I've had no problems at all other than a couple or so times when there were slight abnormalities at Freeview start-up.

Big Deal is still unavailable, which does not bode well for BS2, I fear. Bugger!

Any chance that ‘the powers that be’ on this site could contact Cellcast to try and find out what is going on, and more importantly, when (or even if) it is going to be rectified?

There were no problems at all with BS2 on channel 42 for the Granada region last night.
I recorded the whole show ok.
