Pro Evo 2010 Demo

Just downloaded the demo of this game and a quick go of it and so far its looking promising . The only thing i found missing was the speech, no commentary which hopefully will be put in the finally game. The game is played at a nice good pace not too fast and too slow. They have finally put in 360 degree control of the players were as before it was only 8 directional control. The control seemed to work very well, i have idea how the previous versions played as never played them. Its gonna be hard for pro evo to live up to the standards of fifa 10 has all the proper football kits and the best commentary. Having played the two games they both play very different only time will tell which one will come out on the top, something tells me it will be Fifa 10, its available on the PS3 to download and should be on 360. Will have a look for the final build on this game and see how the final game turns out.

I always get pro evo, i feel there is more control of passing in pro evo because in fifa i struggle to keep possesion

pro evo is sick!! way better than fifa, its more realistic, Fifa is too robotic and rigid. no doubt they have the better graphics, n officialness, but that can all b overcome in pro by buyin the update fingy of ebay

Played the demo and yet again Fifa is better than PES this year, quite easily so in fact. Funny that 654321 says that PES is more realistic than Fifa when every single game site and magazine has said since about 3 years ago Fifa became the more realistic one and PES is getting more and more arcadey with ever new version. Wonder if he has even played both...

No way mate, fifa gets boring after 3 games pro evo grips you its far more enjoyable and gives you more satisfaction when you score

I decided to give PES a real chance today and played for 5 or 6 games on the demo. It was so bad, the whole time I was playing I was thinking just how much superior Fifa is in pretty much every way, so I stopped playing that and went back to Fifa and played for about 10 games and then only got off because the real football was kicking off, did not even come close to getting bored.

How can you say that? the gameplay is just as good

Na nowhere near as good, like the unresponsiveness of the players, I was playing as the default team of Liverpool and after clearing a corner I was on the halfway line with Gerrard and bashing the fuck out of 'X' to pass and after 3 strides he still had not, so I stopped him while still tapping 'X' and after about a second he pulled his boot back, and got tackled, what the fuck? How can a game do that and still be considered good. If I was playing, say, Mario, and pressed jump and he would not jump till he had taken a few steps and then took that long, the game would be turned into confetti I would get that angry with it.

Plus advantage is not played properly in it, the referee waves on play and then when they get the ball, even though it is their advantage, the referee blows up and gives them a free kick, they were in a fucking advanced position, they were going forward and I was not tackling them, how is that not fucking advantage?

And I had an offside given against me for a player the other side of the penalty box, seriously it was nearly the entire width of the pitch away, not interfering at all, how the fuck does that work? And not to mention the goal given against me that was not all the way over the line, Reina fucking saved it, I watched the instant replay and it was 2/3rd's, maybe 3/4's over the line and a goal was given. I can understand how refs and linesman can fuck that up in real life sometimes but it is a freakin' game, it is designed to not have fuck ups like that in it.

I have not seen any fuckups like that playing the Fifa demo at least 5x as much, it is just far superior.

Oh the good old Fifa versus Pro debate aha.
I used to always buy Pro but I feel it has gone down hill ever since its moved to the "Next Generation". The last Pro I brought was 2008 and I thought it was shocking so I go Fifa 09 and I loved it. Regarding the demos I think that Pro is better than it was last year but its still not as good as Fifa. However I also think the new Fifa is not as good as Fifa 09 but I know its only a demo so I'll have to play it abit more to make up my mind. My problem with Pro Evolution is that the keepers are so poor and unrealistic it ruins it for me. Still my favourite football game is Pro Evolution 5 but at the moment Fifa's still have the edge. If anyone likes Pro Evolution more than Fifa though thats up to you and its no skin off my nose.

Bare with me as I’m not much of a gamer lol but having recently bought a PS3 slimline this is the first time ive played a football game on it so I cant compare FIFA or Pro to their earlier versions on the PS3/Xbox

But I just downloaded the Pro demo and, well, I’m usually a FIFA man and that wont be changing this year. From the two demos I definitely prefer FIFA in terms of gameplay. Ive only played a few games on PES so far but it just seems a bit “Press X to Pass”, “Press Square to Shoot” (if you get what I mean) and FIFA feels a lot more realistic and you get a lot more satisfaction from scoring, as well as having the ‘addictability’ factor and the obvious (graphics, officialness etc.)

So FIFA again this year for me
