I kept mishearing that lyric for ages.
I kept thinking it was 'What do you know about acid malfusion?'

Who are all these people called Mark and where have they come from? Or in the more likely case that I've misheard this could somebody kindly tell me the real words?

I don't know about the names I've never noticed that, but the reply to the question "What do you know about acid house music ?" sounds to me like :
"It's one of the biggest hypes...in the music scene in recent years".

Mark Williams is a welsh former world snooker champion. I don't think he knows much about acid house music either. Snooker loopy by Chas and Dave is more his thing.
