If you look at the end of the thread title it says "etc", so yes he and many other bands belong here. Never really understood what is meant by alternative. Alternative to what , bad music ?...

Haha I get what you mean it is just when I think of Metal, Punk, Rock if I saw etc following that I would think of bands that don't quite fit those categories but come really close like Nine Inch Nails or The Dillinger Escape Plan. I don't think 'Ground Control to Major Tom' lol.
