If not he is talking bollocks. Ricky Hatton had to win a lot more big fights than khan has before he reached superstar status in this country. Naseem Hamed before he fell from grace was given super star billing in this country.

That is because people on the idiot are mostly fucking idiots, like on yahoo the news was about something that was really boring, like interest rates going back to 17.5% in January or something and people had posted racist stuff to whites, asians and blacks, and had also said about they hoped all the troops in Iraq of ours and the US die horribly, seriously, people on the internet are mostly kunts. It is amazing everybody is so civil on here really, you would think there would be a few like it. I do not like Khan, not because he is asian, but because of the reasons I posted in other threads. Shit, overhyped, bigheaded and cocky with a massive chip on his shoulder.

personally, I'd like to see Amir try his hand at MMA, I believe Micheal the count Bisping should be treated like a superstar by now.

Nothing against Amir at all, but he needs to not let silly things like that get to him.
By rights, there should be a lot more boxing superstars, but not enough possess the personality and carisma to capture the imagination of the public, such as Ben, Eubank and Bruno.
He should just keep training hard, kicking arse and eventually he'll be a popular household personality, not just a household name.

Don't resort to causing contraversy for attention Mr Khan (like tsurugi did here, ha ha!) be patient and box because of your love of the sport, not the adoration of the public, who lets face it... are mainly, basically strangers.
If your family and friends are proud of you and your achievments then that should be enough for now.
I hope he continues to do well.
