Non-Babe channel related threads

Why the hell are they here?! do we really need more reasons and places to discuss stuff? Theres tons of subject matter on the channels going on, why involve outside issues when this is the "uk babe channels" Forum? Whats more, it dumbfounds me how many people are posting other stuff at late hours of the day! There are other forums for that, i belive they should be seperate,it doesnt annoy me, i just dont get it thats all!

In a short period of just over one year, the forum has grown enourmously in terms of members and visitor numbers. Many of the core members and primary posters have quite naturally got to know each other, and as with the majority of people in any society, topics of interest and conversations have stretched beyond 'babes' and 'babeshows'. Out of what was initally a bunch of babeshow enthusiasts, a community has developed. Like any community, interests are varied. In its sturcture the forum has developed to reflect these additional interests.

If there was no demand for non-babe subect matter, those sections would not flourish. However, they do. I can't think of a member who has actively participated in the non-babe sections that didn't initially express an interest for a specific babe or babe channel. All of the members who post in these other sections are still primarliy here due to their interest in the babeshows. Their participation in non-babeshow sections is just a natural extension of their personality.

You're right, there are other forums out here that specialise in some of the non-babeshow subjects that this forum covers. However, its natural that many members, who are quite frankly addicted to the babeshows and this forum (something you've admitted to yourself), feel more comfortable discussing some of these 'other' subjects here - amongst the friends, faux enemies, and within the community of which they've become a part.

There are and have been other babeshow-only forums. They have not flourished as this forum has, and the majority have fallen by the wayside. Some people crave more than just to chat about x babe's hot ass, share pics and videos of said babes or discuss the threat of Ofcom to the babeshows.

I know you realise this, but if it does bother you that the additional sections exist, then there is nothing compelling you to use either those sections, or even the forum itself.

So...when can we expect a new thread on how to play the guitar from you...

I appreciate the time for your reply skate, i still stand by my statement tho. Whilst i agree members like to share other stuff with each other,as a result of feeling more comfortable in this enviroment; one of the reasons i came on here was indeed to meet like minded folk and make friends. In reality this hasnt happened, and for the most part it seems hostile and greedy.(watch for my forthcomming thread about "reputation"). I would love to meet many other members in real life, say once a month,regionally, in order to really swap stuff and discuss things, but i guess thats too much to ask of this forum? I also feel that whilst sharing and discussing non related stuff with others is community-building,most of us come here purely on the basis of what we want need and see, and therefore any further involvement may be deemed a little nerdy? the odd aside i dont mind, its when people discuss music or whats been on regular telly i really think its time to get out more!

Perfectly articulated Skateguy.
As it says in the "Birth of babechannels .co .uk" thread linked in Skateguy's post, one of the reasons this forum came about was because a minority of members of the BGAFD forum claimed that topics relating to babe channels had no place on that forum.

In 18 months this forum has overtaken BGAFD, (which has been established for over 10 years) in members, page views and popularity.
Now the members of that forum who were stating that certain topics should be banished to another area of cyberspace are complaining that "no one posts any more".

As you have said in the past, there are plenty of other forums out there. But as far as forums go, this place has to be one of the friendliest and welcoming communities you could find.

In general, the "off topic" threads do not intrude on the "Babe" topics. So there really isn't an issue.

I did not start that thread! I know you dont like me, so i wont persue this matter anymore, nobody ever agrees with the things i have problems with so i will stay on the periphery. I appreciate there " isnt really an issue" But i was trying to start a discussion about how people felt about so much other stuff being here. for me its like when years ago in a porn mag you used to get an article about cars, or in lads mags theres so much stuff about sport and watches ect. This IS my hobby, i dont really do much else outside my job. and i can find out all else i need to know from the TV and the sunday times! As much as anything,it was a crap night on the channels, and i was amazed at how many posts there were for other stuff! Im on some other forums too, its a busy hobby!

If you look at what you said to me in reply on that old post you will understand what i mean! I do try to enjoy this place, but people,like bluearmy are so volatile and others are on a hair trigger to jump down my throat... im rarely agreed with,other than about the faults with sound and vision, and even that gets vastly ignored ( god, i can belive you all dont kick up more about that, the essence of the forum!!) Im glad you appreciate my caps n vids, i know we like the same girls. Sorry, im just a bit angsty right now,and dont get me started about 'repping' i wanna abolish it!!

Mods I am very disappointed that this person has been allowed to say something of this nature, if I had written similar it would have been removed straight away! Can people really start writing what they think about others because if that is the case I could have a field day....perhaps I should start now???? .........no I will not....why because I have more decorum than to be discriminatory towards others (unless said others have deserved it) in public, this is an unfair description of myself made by someone with a clear vendetta against me, he being allowed to get away with writing such things about me could be classed as influencing others, which I am sure you will agree is out of order in its self, this to me shows the true colours of this person and I am truly sorry that I use the same forum as him!

I think a public apology from that person to myself is in order followed by all posts that are libellous in nature or perceived as deflamatory towards myself that he has made removed!

He claims to be a victim of many members opinions and yet has the cheek to use my name in his own victimisation, well that's a case of the Pot calling the Kettle Black if ever I saw one, its funny he cant see why other members should form their own opinions of him, maybe some of his posts will give him a rough idea as to why!
