Unfortunately the information I have was given to me in confidence by the channels and I'm therefore unable to tell you what the complaints are or which channels they are about. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.

As far as I'm aware, we have only been asked to remove one such discussion so far, which was a request we carried out for the channel concerned. It is of course possible that we will receive further requests of this kind.

It's ridiculous. Insisting on the removal of clips and caps is fair enough, as they can get you on infrigment of copyright if they so choose. Where they stand, legally, in demanding we don't discuss their channels is another thing all together - re-arrange these words 'leg, stand, not, a, to, on'

You should tell them to go fuck themselves. I can't believe you've started removing discussions at their request. Tell me, what legal right do they have to demand that their channel is not discussed?

If it was up to me, all discussion and debate threads would be canned. They bore me and the same points are repeated every 5 minutes.

Post the clips but hide information about time or day. Don't narrow it down to less than a week. And if the broadcaster has more than one channel, don't say which.

But aren't Ofcome being less heavy handed than 2 years ago ? Back then channels that flashed would have had a phone call the next morning and been shut down immediately if they repeated it.

I stopped posting screencaps of Amanda because I just got the overwhelming feeling, as I was about to press the 'send' button, that I was just doing some twats job for them.

Guess I was right.
