Yesterday I finished watching all 10 episodes of 'Maniac' with Jonah Hill and Emma Stone. After the first 2 episodes I didn't have a clue what was going on and was ready to give up on it as I found it weird, boring and a confusing plot but I read a review that said to stick with it as the episodes get a better as they go along, so I did.
By the end I found it to be a good but very weird tv show. It is worth a look but you have to get past the initial slow start to it then it becomes an enjoyable show.
I would describe it as trippy, emotional, funny, very weird and very well acted by the 2 leads. This will not suit everyone because it's possibly one of those shows like marmite! You'll either like it or hate it. 8/10.

House S7 Ep13 "Two Stories"

A great episode done through a series of flashbacks as House talks to a class full of children at a local school on career day about his latest case.Incredibly funny with some nice classic film references.

Dolph Lungren takes time out from his action movie roles (most of them low budget these-days) to present a gameshow that's a kind of meld between Crystal Maze,The Cube & Release the Hounds.Three contestants (friends & family) compete in individual challenges (all film based)where if they succeed they move closer to a holiday fail then Lungren gives them a few pearls of wisdom or an old movie quip or two (I must break you !!!) before pushing them off the tower where some cheap CGI effect kicks in. Nothing new but perfectly watchable nonetheless.

Master of Horror : Stephen King

A documentary film narrated by Mariella Frostrup that managed to cram in most of the highs and lows of his illustrious career including the short stories that were published in top shelf magazines before he became a household name due to the success of Carrie.A decent effort but one hour didn't really do the literary giant the justice he deserved.

Forgotten how great this show was and of course Miss Parker.

Star Trek Short Treks: Runaway.

Started off alright, but it rambled on a bit for the last few minutes. Kinda felt more like Doctor Who than Discovery.
But, I don't mind 10 minutes of Tilly.

First half - 8/10
Second half - 6/10.
