Movie News & Reviews
Here's some news about the new x men film taken from ign.com:
Following news that Bryan Singer is to take the reigns of forthcoming prequel X-Men: First Class, the director has spoken about the nature of the project.
In an interview with Variety, Singer said of the story, "This is the formative years of Xavier and Magneto, and the formation of the school and where their relationship took a wrong turn.
"There is a romantic element, and some of the mutants from X-Men will figure into the plot, though I don't want to say which ones. There will be a lot of new mutants and a great villain."
Singer apparently wrote a detailed treatment for the film that sparked the interest of Twentieth Century Fox, with the studio then setting Street Kings scribe Jamie Moss the task of writing the script.
Variety reports that the film will be a Star Trek-style reboot, with Xavier and Magneto being in their 20s.
"Whether it's Batman, Lord of the Rings or Star Trek, if the characters are good, you want to see them on their journey even if you know their destiny," Singer said. "I put myself in the fan's position, and I think this story is something I would want to see, and so will they."

RE: Movie News
Heres news from the new james bond film, doesn't sound like good news to me, taken from ign.com
Oscar-nominated screenwriter Peter Morgan had little to say about his script for Bond 23, but what he did say has sure got Bond fans curious.
"It is a shocking story," Morgan said of Bond 23 in an interview with the Austrian newspaper Kurier. Well, what does that mean exactly? Do they kill off a major character? Does James Bond quit the service and become a Soviet agent? Whatever the case may be, Morgan's cryptic comment has fan sites such as MI6 and CommanderBond buzzing.
Morgan, whose credits include The Queen, Frost/Nixon and The Damned United, also revealed that he wrote the script from July to October of this year, but that all work on Bond 23 has been put on hold until at least February 2010 due to MGM's current financial woes and potential sale.
Series stars Daniel Craig and Judi Dench have both recently suggested that Bond 23 aims to start shooting in late 2010 or early 2011.

RE: Movie News
Here's some news regarding the new superman film, taken from ign.com:
UK, March 10, 2010 - It's official: Christopher Nolan is taking control of a new Superman movie franchise.
Back in February, we heard rumours that The Dark Knight director would "godfather" a rebooted Man of Steel series, and now Nolan has confirmed the news in an interview with The Los Angeles Times.
"It's very exciting, we have a fantastic story," he said. "We feel we can do it right. We know the milieu, if you will, we know the genre and how to get it done right."
Nolan is keeping his cards close to his chest on specifics about the plot or who would direct the film, but he did say that Batman collaborator David Goyer was working on the screenplay, and that the idea for Superman came when the pair was struggling on Batman 3.
"He basically told me, 'I have this thought about how you would approach Superman. I immediately got it, loved it and thought: That is a way of approaching the story I've never seen before that makes it incredibly exciting. I wanted to get Emma [Thomas -- his wife and co-producer] and I involved in shepherding the project right away and getting it to the studio and getting it going in an exciting way."
He wouldn't go into specifics, but it seems the pair will approach the story in the same way they did Batman.
"A lot of people have approached Superman in a lot of different ways. I only know the way that has worked for us that's what I know how to do... We're [...] trying to find an incredible story in a way that audiences can engage with it the way they engage with contemporary action films. I think David's approach is a very good way of doing just that."
Finally, it seems we shouldn't expect Superman and Batman to team up anytime soon. "Each serves to the internal logic of the story. They have nothing to do with each other."
Excited Nolan is finally and officially onboard or worried about what he'll do with the Man of Steel series? Let's have your thoughts below.
