Well according to the woman involved the press reports have stated things which were untrue, so I guess at the moment nobody's sure of exactly what happened.

thats my point, i read one report that said his team mate and girlfriend had actually split up.... 2 months before this all happened.

Many of the reports have referred to her as Bridge's ex or former partner/girlfriend but as you say have chosen to gloss over this fact when venting their moral outrage. Terry's unfortunate that he's come on the back of (now that WOULD be a story) Tiger Woods.

There would have been far less "outrage" and less people calling for Terry's head on a plate if he'd just shagged Wayne Bridge, instead of his ex....

ok this is my first post on here, i'm a chelsea fan, have been since i was about 5, (now 21) and JT is my hero, not my role model but my Hero! (and also apologies now for any spelling errors, i have slight dyslexia)
He is one of if not the best central defenders in the country...there is no one else who plays with as much heart & passion for the game as he does! If theres one man you want in the way of anyones shot, it's JT. He's the only person in that squad who's willing to dive in, knowing he might get knocked out or badly injured, if it means his team winning...picture this, World Cup semi final, England are 1-0 up against brazil wit 1 minute left on the clock and theres a ball bouncing around and Kaka is about to smash it towards goal....who do you want diving in the way to block it...JT!! as you know he's the only 1 willing to do it for the cause!!

So how some morons can be calling for him to stripped of England Captaincy is a joke! David Beckham was shagging around with Rebecca Loos when he was England Captain...yet did anyone say he should be stripped of the Captaincy!? Did they balls!!!
So england loose Wayne Bridge...WHOOOPEE!! He would've only gone to South Africa as 2nd choice, and Leighton Baynes is a better player in my honest opinion.

I do not know how people can say, 'How can the players not trust him?' You do realise what he done yeah, I know mates that have fucked other mates g/fs or ex's and shit and I have never fully trusted them again, I don't even speak to most of them anymore. It does make a difference. I would be sacked from my job if I done any of the stuff he has done (admittedly if I fuck up people can die so my job is more safety orientated), so for no action to be taken against him would be disgraceful.

The answer to that is simple....Most of the other players in the squad are guilty of similar shit themselves, it would be a bit rich if one of them suddenly decided to take the moral high ground over Terry. It's been listed on this thread a few times now some of the shenannigans that other players have been up to.....Who's gonna slag him off? Rooney, after all the hookers he's fucked? Ashley Cole, apparently a serial cheat? Stevie G, after beating a bloke to a pulp in a bar? There's been NO ACTION taken against any of them so you can't single out Terry, especially as it now turns out that the girl in question wasn't even with Bridge at the time Terry got into her drawers.

Leaving Capello to deal with it is RIGHT, he's the manager, HE decides who's captain and who isn't. Dealing with shit like this is what we're paying him for.
