RE: Andy Murray
I think if Murray wins the semi-final he will definitely win the final too.

What was the epic 70-68 match like? I never saw any of it, but did the players get tired at the end or were they still going all out?

RE: Andy Murray
The boy Murray gets another chance to make British Tennis history in Sunday's Aussie Open final. Starts 08.30GMT LIVE BBC1 TV. when he takes on Novak Djokovic. It's the best best chance he has had to win a Grand Slam title. At least he does not have to beat the likes of Federer or Nadal this time. Djokovic is very good but Murray has the game to beat him here.

RE: Andy Murray
Much as I would love to see Andy win, Djokovic is the favourite to win in my book. For me his form has been more consistent and he has had the extra days rest before the final. The fact he put Berdych and Federer away in straight sets speaks volumes and I fear that Murray may get blown away. Murray has been very erratic in the last 2 rounds while Djokovic has got stronger. I really hope I am wrong but I fear another defeat may be coming Sad Sad Sad

RE: Andy Murray
Maybe not being the favorite might take the pressue off Murray and not playing well and still winning is not a bad thing.Big Grin

RE: Andy Murray
He was knackered and limping after his match.
His opponent is in the form of his life and just murdered the world no1 and he's had a days extra rest.

Who do you think will win bladewave

RE: Andy Murray
Djokovic is certainly the favourite, no doubt about that

But having an opportunity to win a grand slam without having to play Federer or Nadal is waaay to good to miss

Can't see him winning myself, but still, Come on Andy! Big Grin

That just doesn't happen, he get's called Scottish and British - usually in the same article - before and after matches, whether he wins or loses. Should he win I suppose eveyone in Scotland will be celebrating a British, as opposed to a Scottish, winner will they?
