Real chance to reach the final now Rafa's out...although I fancy Ferrer to knock him out at the QFs (He is British after all)

Murray vs Ferrer on Centre Court at Wimbles - can't see it happening. Ferrer has never progressed beyond the 4th round at Wimbledon. He's more of a clay-court specialist.

They've played each other 10 times, both winning 5. 4 of Murray's defeats against him have come on Clay, the other defeat was at the ATP finals last year (Hard court).

They most recently played at the French Open this year, with Ferrer winning in 4 sets.

As long as Andy plays well he'll beat him.

I wouldn't call Andy a miserable shite, he's very focused and I suspect that he often gets tired of fielding questions from the media and that he'd rather just get on with his game.

The media frenzy goes with the highly paid sponsor deals and prize money. If he doesn't like it, he knows what he can do.

To be fair to him, he had some banter with a reporter prior to the World Cup in 2006 which led to him saying in jest the "Anyone but England" quote which 6 years later is still being used to justify not supporting him and has caused some commentators to say he should always play Davis Cup to make for this supposed slight which is a ridiculous suggestion. Rather than being a miserable person, he is justly cautious in his dealings with the press which means he doesn't always come across in the best light

I don't give a toss about his football comment. I've workd with plenty of Scots over the years and taken (and returned) plenty of football related abuse.

I dislike Murray because he's a surly little twat. The media argument doesn't wash either, it goes with the job. David Beckham has had more media coverage than Murray can ever hope for and rarely do you see him being anything other than polite & professional.

Well done to Andy Murray for making it to the final. Let's hope he does Scotland proud and wins on Sunday. Also great to see the Scottish flag being waved at the games. Hardly a British flag in sight Come on Scotland
