Good luck to Roger Federer in the final. A Sportsman and a gent, not a surly little prick like Murray.

Britain's Andy Murray into the final; well done that man! Can you imagine the ensuing bedlam if England's Andy Murray actually wins the thing? What's really great though, is that if Scotland's Andy Murray gets beaten, Federer gets to rack up a seventh Wimbledon singles title. Bring it on!

Don't really care about the whole Scottish/British rubbish, but I like him and he's great to watch when on form

Hope he wins on Sunday, if only to shut up all the people that can't stand him

With all due respect I doubt Andy Murray is motivated by trying to win it for Scotland or for Britain. He wants to win for himself and those that have worked so hard with him down the years to make him the player he is. Its his life and his career and he has to be single minded. Its not a personality contest. His focus will be on trying to win his first major title and not on trying to be a crowd pleaser. His task is considerable however. To my knowledge even though he holds an 8-7 winning record against Federer all of the wins have been in 3 set matches in lesser tournaments. He has never beaten Federer over 5 sets in a grand slam. And now he faces the Swiss on grass on a court where he was dominant for so long. Make no mistake this is a tough assignment for Murray and he will, in my view have to play the match of his life to win.
Can he do it? Yes.
Will he? I don't think he will maintain a high enough intensity level and depth of groundstroke to upset Federer's rhythm in the same way Nadal and Djokovic have been able to in recent years so I expect the Swiss maestro to win.

It's a shame, a very good achievment, but i can't stick this anglophobe.

Lets be clear he is Scotlands man if he wins it and he will be Scotlands man if he loses it. He will never be Englands man and GB dont come in to it!

Scotland is part of Great Britain, fact. So the loss and win will be both Scotland AND Great Britians, fact.

Thought i hope he losses in straight sets.

put the news on earlier it was all murray this, murray that. i am already sick and tired of hearing about getting through to the final, i would to see what it be like on sunday evening or monday morning IF murray wins it.

murray has no class, grace and personality

You are wrong. There is no England or Scotland in tennis. GB does come into it, because the governing body for tennis in this country is the Lawn Tennis Association which presides over all tennis in Great Britain.
