No, in Ofcom's own Broadcast Bulletins report time and time again the channels have asked for clarification, asked what the rules are - and not got an answer.

RE: Viewer Expectations : Audience Survey
Sooky, this wasn't supposed to turn into a slanging match or an attack on you or your views - for this I humbly apologise. Before we go any further, can I ask that you familiarise yourself with the material to which this thread/poll actually pertains. It's all available here in the "3 somes and more" thread, 19-22 June 2009. The question is, is this material "so strongly sexual" Ofcom have a right to ban it from FTA sex chat TV?

As I said before, I think we're talking at crossed purposes and what you think our 'campaign' is about isn't necessarily what all this talk of expectations is actually all about. Thus far our 'campaign' is simply collecting data which contradicts Ofcom's claims - and we will continue to collect any data which contradicts Ofcom's position until such time as the contradictions force Ofcom to change their position - after that what happens is down to free market forces and the channels delivering what people want to watch or are willing to pay for. In a Democracy we the people decide what's right and wrong not the fucking Government or their lackies.

The vast majority of the previous posts do add to the debate! Many people took the time to comment on the topic of viewer expectations, removing comments that are totally off topic or offensive is one thing, but erasing whole chunks of a thread will stifle future debate.

vostok, nothing to do with the debate has been deleted - what has gone was off topic, irrelevant and getting a little abusive.

Ok, thanks. I wasn't aware that posts had previously been removed. I thought your request related to the current posts in this thread.
