Messages and comments for the owners of The Chat to read!

How does everyone feel about the chat and what changes do you as viewers and followers what to see on the chat to make it even better. I feel the chat is the best show on the 900 channels it not a sex or flurting show, it's a good laugh, with lots of topics and views are shared. I for one would like to have a better set instead of a just blank walls. Also a happy hour with texts to 50p for two hrs a day you would get more people hence more money as some can't always afford high prices and as we are your cumotomers i.e views and most have been loyal so it's a way of you people who own the station to say thanks by having a two hour happy hour. If anyone else has any views on how they would like to see/not see the chat please post. I for one understand why they have the desk as some people would ask to see bums, feet , chest and so on which is not what the chat is about but the screen need to be enlarged a little more so we can see more of the girls and if they want they can give us twirle if they like. I agree with some of Madhatter's points. My 2peneth is:-

1. Enlarge the girls screen ( i have poor eyesight and the current layout is to crowded).
2. Reduce the text/calls rate, say every Sunday.
3. When both girls are on the phones have a maximum time of one hour then log off and talk to the texters.
4. New set and i don't mean just sticking up a poster on the back wall.

Vary the show, showing a few clips of the girls out and about during the day would break up monotone format.

i agree with jonny the girls should be half screen and get rid of the pic and red box, i think everyone is in agreement about the price's there bang out of order drop the price for text and more people will get involved most people are on a budget and if you only got a tenner then surely most people would rather send in 10 text than 6 so why can't cellcast see that their still gonna get their tenner, on busy days yes the girls should log out and get the texter involved a bit more where's the interest in watching someone talk on the phone, yes when the phones are quiet keep logged in, the set is shocking at least in the old studio they could do a bit with it but this cupboard they been put in is a disgrace i think that the chat is'nt in cellcasts long term plans even if it keeps making money for them, i also think they should be moved from the adult section on sky i know its a premium rate number and all that but its not an adult show as such move them down into the 200's back on sumo then some of the freaks might leave the girls in peace as well plus if they move channels i think your find the girls would be happy to extend the show to 3am but i can tell you this none of them will do it while their in the 900's

p.s them bloody chatbacks are taking up to much of the show now they ain't got a mr to check them first, towards the end of the show each chatback takes up over a minute of time, as for them singing chatbacks jesus they get on most people's nerves don't mind people ringing and talking but why someone feels the need to sing all i can say is feck off if i wanna hear a singer i'll put a proper tune on not some dickhead you would listen to doing karioke

I could say the same about the other shows on the daytime "Adult" Section. The reason they increased the price to £1.50 from 50p was because of all the nuisance people that it attracted when it was purely a text show.

I have to say I don't find watching any of the other shows, most of which don't have a text service or if they do I don't see them reading them out are any better. I guess a certain audience will watch them because the girls are wearing very little and they will phone up to see how far they can push the boundaries. I personally don't find watching them on the phone very interesting either on the other shows.

I think the fact that Cellcast has put them where they have put them shows that The Chat isn't a priority for them.

I guess with The Chat unlike other shows you feel like you are part of a community as a lot of viewers talk to each other away from the show. I agree the show isn't perfect and needs to be freshened up a bit and knowing Bambi she will be trying to do that but if Cellcast doesn't see The Chat as a priority and therefore doesn't spend money on it then even Bambi's best efforts to move the show forward won't come to anything.

To the owners of The Chat, what other programme that you do gives you three income strands Phone,Text and Chatback?

Does BS Daytime make so much money in relative to the budget given to it than The Chat given the shoestring budget it survives on?

I would really like to know the figures given that understand closing The Chat is again on your agenda.

I can't believe there is any talk of closing The Chat again. With 2 girls taking calls simultaneously for most of the show at £1,50 a min and a seemingly constant text interaction, its hard to believe it isn't making money and if it is making even a small profit why would you need to close it? The Chat is unique among the channels in its style and presentation and while I'm not a participator in the other shows I feel the greater interaction between the girls and the audience affords more of an insight into their personalities than the girls on the other shows and I see them as much as friends as presenters just talking at me. The Chat has a hardcore following of extremely loyal and devoted fans, and if the number of new texters and callers is anything to go by, a growing one, we must not allow the show to go.

I think that because the owners of Babestation (their main business), are not making as much money during the daytime as they want compared to The Chat, they see The Chat as a threat to profits and so will continually try to shut it down so removing some competition to their girly shows.
They do not care about The Chat only the girly shows, so do not give it a budget in a hope it loses enough viewers/money and so be able to shut it without much objection.
I say to them Bugger Off and leave The Chat alone.

this is nothing to do with money as cellcast get £1 per text and only 90p per min for calls so this is one descision thats just down to the fact cellcast don't want the chat in it's future as much as it's saddens me to say i don't think cellcast want to keep the chat going and are just looking for reasons to shut it down no-one can get involved every day either for work or money reasons, all cellcast want is to shut the chat down and give us another channel with a girl in underwear shaking her arse on a bed cus thats what us all blokes want or so they think i'm not gonna sit here having a go at those shows as each to their own but i like the chat so thats what i watch, for some reason the bosses at cellcast want to get rid of the chat all we can do is give the girls our support and hope for the best

Mike in reply to your message it's 4 ways of income you forgot picture messages. You can send in pictures but most send pix of thier john thomas which I find odd. But I'm liking the messages in the room. I love the chat so much and not into the other shows. Maybe cellnet is just after maximum income without having to shell out any wonga like on the other shows.I surguest whatever bambi says to the powers that be will fall on deaf ears. But if they was close the show what can we do but show them we care. How hard is it to set up a show like this? If there is a rich young business person out there maybe s/he could set up a channel like the chat which is not on the adult sex menu on sky. But i've noticed that Psychic Tv is in the specialist menu on sky why when it too has texts at £1.50 p/m and phone-ins If the chat was on sumo tv all day we would get more viewers hence more money and would that not solve it??
